in order to get the Tennis Channel in Canada, a submission has to be made vy your cable service provider to CRTC (Canadian Radio & Television Corporation) Here's the response I got yesterday to my e-mail to my cable provider, Rogers. If we want it, this is what as many tennis viewers as possible should do to show that there really is an interest. We can make it happen if we want to so e-mail them to-day.

"Thank you for your email. We appreciate your feedback. We have now
forwarded your suggestion regarding the Tennis Channel to our
programming department for consideration. Please be advised, however,
that we would have to make application to the CRTC for inclusion of
this channel in our line-up.

Please be advised, however, that CRTC approval is by no means
automatic and the approval process itself may be time-consuming as the
CRTC would need to make exhaustive inquiries as to whether the proposed
channel meets its criteria for inclusion."

Here's what I wrote to my cable provider (just in case thet don't know about TTC which could be likely)

"The Tennis Channel has been established in the USA for a year, and presents a quality channel devoted only to tennis..tournaments, equipment, lessons, etc. In no way does it conflict with TSN's programming, as the tournaments (that's all TSN has) are completely different. Has CRTC reviewed this channel for inclusion in cable service? If not, I request that you ask them to. There are many tennis fans In Canada who would like it to be offered."
