Hi

I'm a first time Poly user yesterday I tried Solinco Barbwire. I was impressed being a user of softer strings Syn Gut, Multi and Natural Gut. You read so much about how people have TE because the string is too hard on the arm etc...

I'm no string expert my understanding is that Barbwire is a "twisted co-poly". Being new to poly I was wondering what other people think of this co-poly. In terms of stiffness what are some similar co-poly?

I've never used that string before, but just remember that poly is generally a lot stiffer than syn/multi/natty regardless of how soft a poly it is.

If you're used to nat gut, you may like hybriding nat gut in the mains with poly in the crosses. Seems to be all the rage lately.

Yes I know poly is stiffer They say to string it 10% less then what you normally do. I did 47 Mains 49 for crosses.
