2 different looking Dunlop MW 200g's??

I'll get some pictures taken when i get new batteries for my camera...

Anyways, i just bought a new MW 200g off ****, and the cosmetics of it are different from the MW 200g i already have.

On the side of the throat, one of them says "Dunlop Techtonics" where the other one just says "Dunlop"

On the other side of the throat, the "Muscle Weave" insignia are going in opposite directions for each racquet.

At the very top of the head, one of them sayd "200g Midplus 95" and the other just says "200g 95"

Anyone know anything about this? I'm just curious.

Thanks.

Sorry I can't help you, but I have a question for you if you don't mind. How does the MW 200G play? Also, how much did it cost you and is there anywhere besides **** to get them? Thanks.

the racquet just has a nice feel to it. When you strike the ball, it just feels nice....don't know exactly how to put it in words. lol

i've added a leather grip, along with 6" of lead tape at 3 and 9 o'clock. It has a great balance, and stability is really good (especially on volleys).

Brent- that's funny. lol

Matt,

Where can you get the MW 200G? About how much do they cost? Is there anywhere to demo the racquet? Finally, does Dunlop even still make the racquet? Thanks for your help.

The Muscle Weave 200Gs were discontinued about two years ago. They're replaced by the hotmelt ones. While I won't read too much into HM construction (well, as a really new thing anyways), the feel of the MW 200G and the 200G HM are very different (they sorta hit similar, but just feel different).

Best place to find a MW 200G is on **** or similar places. I liked both the MP and the Oversize, but preferred the MP (but I have a bias for M and MP anyways).

I'm pretty sure most stores have sold their stock and their demos long ago.

I like the Hotmelt 200Gs, but prefer the MW by quite a bit.

There is no difference between the two MW rackets you have got. We decided to drop the "tectonics" part for the second year of manufacture, as it meant nothing to anyone ! The reason for switching the decals to face the other way was to fall in line with other brands... if you hold the frame in your right hand.. you should be able to read the logos.... Dunlops all used to be left handed.... dull but true !
