2 handed BH: When does the left leg come through?

Assuming you're a right handed player when does the left leg come through? If I do practice swings with my 2 handed backhand a lot of times I fall forward and also feel like my often comes through as I'm swinging. I know I could fix this by keeping it back, but that robs power and full extension. Do you let the momentum of the swing bring your leg through?

Not all BHs will result in the off-leg following through. But on the ideal stroke, my off-leg wants to move as my torso is uncoiling. I wouldn't be able to comfortably uncoil if my off-foot was planted. But it doesn't move with the stroke.

Seems like it would be a must on X court, but less so on dtl or inside out.

Although, what the outer hip is doing, is really more critical, imho.

Yes ... but on closed stance weight transfer 2hbhs. Check @00:39 in video @travlerajm posted of Murray above. All the weight is up on front (right) leg, and left leg comes around on follow through.
