this Andy is a weirdo however. all athletes go and hug their families after this kind of huge win. but what does he do ? he wants his watch. why don't you go hug a watch sponsor then
The crowd booed djokovic hard when he took that medical time out for cramping. The whole crowd booed

Nope. He would've beaten Ferrer instead. No tornado, no grand slam.
Great fight.. Wind, three matches in a row. You as always showed a lot of heart.. Get some rest.
I find it a bit ironic that Murray finally won his slam playing the way he did today. He definitely reverted back to his passive, retrieving game, but I guess that's what the conditions called for. It was very windy early on, and the wind never completely went away. I thought he played much better in the Wimbledon final, but I guess it's all about who you're playing and how you and your opponent are playing on the day.

No way was he passive, absolutely ********, he was aggressive when he needed to be and defensive when he needed to be.
What match were you watching?
Absolute bollocks, you were looking for the negatives, when you look for the negatives, you end up filtering out the positives. There were many occasions where Murray went deep and hard with inside out forehands, making Novak lunge, which then opened up the court for the easy winner.
Being aggressive isn't as black and white as smacking winners from no-where, there's a thing called point-construction, which you require a certain amount of aggression to succeed with.
Murray is the likely winner of the 2012 US Open, in my opinion. He is simply a better player than Djokovic right now.
I've actually seen Djokovic and Murray play this week. So I'm able to judge. The numbers are of no use. I mean, you are aware that they are playing different opponents, right?
The crowd has always been with Nadal at the US Open and Australian Open, but that clearly didn't bother Djokovic. The crowd will be with Murray, but I don't see it making a difference. I think Murray will win, simply because he's now better than Djokovic.
The stupidly long rallies make me want to change the channel
I'm speaking relatively here. Relative to the way he played at Wimbledon and the Olympics, he was rather passive. Of course he was aggressive at times and looked to dictate play at times, but those times were fewer than they were a month ago. A player has to play with a certain level of aggression to succeed, but aggression was not pushed to the forefront of his strategy today, while it was early this year on grass. That's all I'm trying to say. Murray's no pusher - and I can understand why you might be defensive about his passive game given the comments that have been leveled at him by some people - but today he was far from aggressive - even and especially given the standards of his own game.
that is the way tennis is nowdays.. how many federer do u think there r ? anyone is the top 200 is alrdy expectionally talented..do u see anyone of them able to play the attacking game like fed.. look at top 4 nadal djo murray all good defenders , all play long rallies.. and dun forget top 4 stand out so far from the rest considering that the rest r alrdy v talented whichi alrdy mentioned

I'm numb.
To all the haters.
I forgive every one of you.
Djokovic gets better with every passing point.
Djokovic edging ever closer to his 2nd US Open.
It's all over. Novak can't control anything in this wind. Murray is the US open 2012 champion.
Sir Andy Murray the knight
Murray doesn't turn defense into offense. Nadal and Djokovic do. Murray just plays defense and waits. Murray is a Michael Chang style of tennis. Nothing wrong with that, seeing as he's able to win slams with it.
Most top tier 5.5 players familiar with the tricky wind of Frushing from the east coast could have beaten Joker last night. Just getting the ball back and wait for Novak to grunt and moan, then miss. Easy money. Heck I could have probably beat him too. I'm used to the wind on those courts. I won a district singles final there myself. I coulda been USO Champion last night. We all could have been. What Murray did last night isn't that difficult for most of us. Thats why his celebration was so muted and awkward.
Look at Rosols Borg like victory photos: beating Rafa was so epic his celebration was real. Murray looked like his bike was just stolen and not winning a GS. Totally uneventful slam winning moment because the crowd knew he was pushing and Joker was injured with mono or something really really painful.
Such poetry... pathetic.
Djokovic only defended one of 3 slams this year (and the slam he won, was as close to losing as possible). That's quite a turnaround. And there is a good chance Murray will have a better 2012 than Djokovic. Murray now has a slam and a gold medal. The only way Djokovic can have a better year than Murray is if Djokovic wins the World Tour Finals. And if Nadal wins the World Tour Finals then both Nadal and Murray have had a better year than Djokovic.
Nole will run through this 3rd set now. It's over.
All to play for, which is nice at this stage of the season.

It is time for you to stop all your.... There's one thing you gotta do
Lyrics really, rather than poetry.
I've got no beef with Murray or his ****s no more.
Time to move on, no?

Dude no disrespect intended. I really don't think you or most 5.5's could have beaten Joker last night. Murrays level wasn't low per se, and Joker fought damn hard for that title. These guys are on a whole other level.
You got trolled on a whole different level.
