Rafa seems to be slowing down. 4th set still very much in doubt, esp. with Rog serving 1st.
As a Federer fan I don't mind Nadal playing great tennis. I also don't mind Federer's level dipping, it's part of the game. What is unpleasant though, is the constant harping about the rivalry. Yes he has a losing record vs the 2nd most successful player of his career. But that is just fine. This isn't snooker, the match-up factor is hard to beat. Why can't people enjoy tennis and not be so infantile?
Are you for real?
Who is Majin Buu ?
Great forehand from Roger!
Rafa's backhand looks good at the moment.

I think 1st set he didn't play well but his level has been quite good since. Fed's level is all over the place as usual when he plays Nadal.
LMAO at Wilander, his trolling is really TT-worthy! I bow to the master.
Credit to Nadal for playing his ususal, simple game plan.
Criticism to Fed and his coaches for not idemtifying a gameplan.
PMac and Darren are right on with all of their comments about going to the tape.
Scary thing for Nadal fans re Nole: Even with an awful gameplan and massive UEs, Fed is still in this match
Scary thing for Fed fans: Even after all of these matches, he still doesn't come with a good game plan so he either is too stubborn or doesn't have a good coach.
You were never a Federer fan if you could actually write that.
It was atrocious at the beginning of the match. Thankfully it has solidified, but still looking worse than Federer's on the whole. However, Nadal doesn't get enough credit for his backhand passing shot. His backhand becomes phenomenal when his opponent is at the net.
Hang on, did the Eurosport commentator say that whenever these guys go to 5, the winner of the 3rd set wins the match?
Wimbledon 2008??
Or did he say "usually?..."
Roger, don't break here...
I was a Federer fan through all of his wins AND losses. I supported him through all of his tough moments, defnded him with my arguments time and time again. I don't even mind him losing to Nadal. What I can't stand is how spineless he is. I can no longer be a fan of that.
Federer always hitting the net on crucial points!!!!
Can't agree with that sentiment at all, Fed still plays the most beautiful(for me) style of play on tour, he'll be my favourite until he retires, no question.
Best style, no doubt there. Biggest talent? check! But he's spinless when he faces his main competitor. Fed is a terrific tennis player but he's obviously not the bestt competitor. He gives up, as he did now.
I guess when one faces one's nemesis it's a case of all or nothing, that's why.I still don't understand why Roger will play 2 incredible points, and then just dump routine groundies into the net.
