2 versions of Textreme Warrior 100

Hi guys
Just take a look at the Prince 2016 catalog
There will be a Black and white Warrior 100 and a Peng Shuai black and red Warrior 100 (Warrior Shuai TX)
The White has 1000 power level and Shuai has 1200 power level.
I wonder how could that headlight balance and thin beam has that 1200 power level rating?
Warrior Shuai is available hopefully I'll get a demo by next week.

There is no esp in the USA one either, except on junior frames. I think they may still have some decent string spacing, but they aren't making mention of the ESP. I kind of want to trade digital catalogs :) Just to see what the differences are. There are 3 Textreme Warriors, L, T and just plain Textreme Warrior coming to USA.
 
What are the differences between Warrior100 and Warrior Shuai 100? PJ and Power level? Since written specs are same, may the beam thickness be the point... I think Shuai's 1200 power level due to its thickness. see the picture she holds the racket.

that's it. before the Textreme 95, there were "Textreme 95 XR" in Asian countries (Japan ver., unstr. 310g)
same story on Warrior I guess..
 
Textreme warrior 100TX peng version is already available in Several Asian countries as early as July.
One of the most interesting frame. Thin beam, powerful, head light and flexible.
I wish it's 16x19

Tried Textreme 98 and 100P and Textreme material makes stiffer feeling but it's not actually stiff......
 
Kimguroo... when you get your 100TX.... Please update us..the specs on this thrill me.. especially the power level of 1200 with the appearance of the thin beam..

I could get 100TX early but decided to wait because my family member might visit on Dec.
If not, I will get it around mid or late December.
It's very interesting frame even though I am happy with Regna.
Probably I will string with MSV focus hex at 58.

The picture she holding the racquet I think very thin beam, identical to the Tour 100T TeXtreme.
I think warrior line support to have higher RA stiffness, compare to the Tour line
If Warrior comes with 60RA I change my racquet right away.
How comes a thin beam, 60RA 300g have power level of 1200.

100TX is thinner than tour 100T and it's thinnest beam racket in Textreme rackets.
I don't know how could Prince madke this kind of magical spec for warrior 100TX.
There was no RDC rating so I asked one of stores in Asia and he measured several rackets and he told me it was around 60 RDC.

100TX has 20-22-20mm. Thinnest Textreme racket. TT95 is even thicker than 100TX.

Textreme warrior 100 (white) thickness is 24-26-22.

Probably mold of racket was different too.

The 95 is 22-22-19mm*. So it starts thinner at the shaft and is only thicker in the hoop.

My mistake.
I thought TT95 has 22mm straight beam since rebel 95, tour 95 etc had straight beam.
 
The biggest question when talking about that Shuai Warrior is the crazy power level. Though for me, regardless of the power, it's good they are releasing a slimmer 100. At first I thought it might be just a Tour 100 Pro with a different drill but the picture below shows that it's not the case...

What do Prince power numbers even mean? Given the same person, what would the difference be with the same swing using an 850 rating versus a 1200?

It's combination.
Usually 20-22-20 beam+60 RDC= low power (probably around 8xx Prince power level)

100TX :20-22-20 beam+60RDC= High power????? (power level of 1200)
I liked APD power and Probably 100TX will offer similar power like APD plus flexible feeling.

Addinaionally Prince advertised "100TX offers good control" even though it's 16x18 pattern.

Thinner beam, flexible, powerful and good control.
Sounds like 100TX is the magical racket hahaha

I have found that the higher the number the slower I can swing to get the same amount of depth. 100 points on their power scale I don't notice. From 850 to 1200 points is tweener territory.

In my experiences, I hit more depth with high powered racket and probably more speed.
For example: with 850 power racket, majority balls land between service line and baseline. With 1200 power racket, balls land near baseline.

Makes sense. I was trying to quantify it in terms of where the ball would land and you both did exactly that. Thanks!

Honestly I don't intend to change Regna. Just like high SW and frame action.
I am just curious about 100TX because it sounds like a magical racket ^_^
Also recently I had a little elbow discomfort which was not from Regna so I need one flexible racket in my bag.

Since the Txt warrior white has lower power level, I thought it will be more thinner than 100TX but it is not the case.. Very interesting. As you said, 100TX seems magical(only from catalogue spec). Expecting your demo experience!
 
Shuai racquet with a level at 1200 with those specs seems really really odd - or amazing if it is true. 1200 is the same as the Textreme Warrior 107. Warrior has a larger head, thicker beam, is stiffer and about the same weight. I can't see how this 100 can be that high.

I keep a Warrior 107 in the bag for days my back hurts or someone is putting so much pressure on me that my only game plan is to keep the ball deep. It doesn't offer the control or comfort of the 100P that I also carry, but sometimes it is nice.

1200 is Pure Drive territory.

If a thin beamed, soft 100 at this weight offered as much power as the 107 I would get rid of everything in my bag and just carry these, but after hitting with / demoing 40+ racquets over the last couple years I find it really hard to believe this spec would turn into that much power.

Exactly. When I tried to find replacement of APD, I tried many rackets. Most important one was power.
Prince warrior 100 ESP was similar power to APD and it was power level of 1150.
Anyway I ended up with completely different racket which is Yonex Regna.
I don't intend to change my Regna but 100TX spec is very curious. Seems like it's just impossible to make this kind of racket. Specs are just unreal.
 
Saw one of the white ones leaning up against the wall in the head pro's office this morning. They are starting to get out.

Indeed they are. I have been testing the warrior this week and its an interesting racket. Plenty of power off the ground and very good comfort. The Textreme is a different feel. I wonder how people are going to react to it.

BigM, have you played with any iteration of the textreme racquets prior to testing the Warrior? If yes, I would like to hear your experience.

Seems like the general consensus is that people like it. Warrior 107 is really popular in my area.

there is a good possibility that I might get 100TX by next week.
Lately I am testing or plan to test rackets for fun (including Prince Textreme 100p, AI98 and 100TX).
So far, 100P was better than I expected.
Honestly 100TX is the most interesting racket among those.

To me as well. 22mm beam w/1200 power rating and 285 swing weight bone dry, so with strings, it'll be low 300's. The 100TX was advertised as "Flexible and Powerful" so I can rule it out as being super stiff... sounds mythical.

I, as well at the community, would like to hear your take on the 100TX when you're done with the demo!

I used to play with 12.2oz rackets then started use Yonex Regna which is around 325g but Regna has one of highest swingweight so it feels heavy so When I use 100P, I did not feel it's heavy. Felt slightly light for me but Still can play without adding weight. I prefer a little heavier rackets so hope I won't have problem with 100TX weight issue.

I thought 100TX is super stiff but Prince advertised "flexible" so I asked to one of stores and the owner measured a few frames and told me that stiffness rating was around 60. As soon as I hear that I want to try it. One more thing is Prince said 100TX offers decent control despite of 16x18 pattern. I prefer 16x19 pattern but it will be interesting that what will be 100TX string density.

Adding to the suspense... I had just received a confirmation from a Singapore retailer confirming that the stiffness rating for the 100TX is also 60! This is crazy good if true. Ha! It'll be confirm by real world users in time.

My source was not from Singapore so it is true ^_^.
BTW I tried several Textreme rackets and feels stiff though. I think that's characteristic of Textreme material feel...
Still just can't believe how Prince was able to make 100TX.
Flexible, powerful, thin beam, and decent control for 16x18 pattern. Sounds like magic haha

Textreme does have that crisp solid response which allude you to think the racquet is stiffer than rated.
 
The more I read about this racket, the more I just couldn't believe this is a powerful frame. Soft, thin with power and control?!!! No way...at least it is not the case in my Physics ...
 
Maybe the 1200 power rating is in Chinese or Hong Kong conversion unit? I wonder how that translate to US. Ha! Just playing. There are oversea vendors that would ship to US. I may pull the trigger on the 100TX b/c the 100TX wil probably not make it to the US.

The reg, white textreme warrior (24/26/22mm frame) has been making its way around the US clubs for demo purposes. I wouldn't be surprise if the TW staff is testing it out now. A friend of mine has one on demo, and he came from the TT100T/100P/Warrior TT107/PDR. Here was his take : Larger and wider sweetpot than 100T and 100P. Control, pocketing, and plow was a little shaky. Carving slices were excellent. Serves were powerful and spiny but not too powerful in stock form. Better feel and spin over the PDR for sure. That's all I have from his first run. He'll customize it and bring more plow and stability to his likings and will give it another run.
 
From pics, regular Textreme warrior 100 and peng shuai's 100TX have different mold so probably it's just completely different racket.
A little surprised that Textreme Warrior 100 has stiffness of 66.

I'm not surprised at all. This is Warrior stiffness territory like previous Warrior or White LS.

Yes, played with the Exo3 Warrior and the 2014 Warrior Update. The Exo3 Warrior was an awesome racket for my doubles play. I'd pick the Warrior any day out of the three.
Warrior, then PD, then APD (if you must)
The Warrior 107 doesn't play like an OS racket. The width of the head is not really increased from the regular warriors.
When I save enough cash, maybe even get one of this sticks for Christmas.. i'd like too have the whole line. I at least want to demo the Warrior 100, 100T, 100TX, and 107, 107T
