20-20-20. Would you take it?

Would you be cool with 20-20-20?

would you be cool with all three Big 3 players retiring with 20 slams with how things stand in the current situation?

Since it's hard to imagine Rafa being held to less than 2 or Djokovic to less than 4 at the moment, sure. I'll sign for that.

20/20/20 would be poetic and fitting. It's actually kinda possible but I think Rafole will combine for more than 4 more so 1 will pass imo.

I’m surprised that I’m the first Federer fan now who votes NO.

20-20-20 would mean that Federer won’t win a Slam anymore, so surely I wouldn’t sign for that.

Maybe something like 22-22-22 would be better, but still I would reject it. Federer now leads the list and was recognized as GOAT for such a long time that I surely want him to stay on his throne.

But as I often said, if one or both of the other two will overtake him, I will congratulate them in all fairness and without searching for excuses.

An easy "yes" for Djokovic fans, and it should be an easy "yes" for Fed fans.

I wouldn't take this deal if I were a Rafa fan

You (like your idol) have pride; the others claim clemency ahead of time!

Not surprised that the overwhelming majority of Djokovic fans are voting 'yes.' Not only does that mean he wins 3 more slams, but I also think Novak's GOAT case will depend less on having the outright slam record than Rafa's and Roger's.

As a tennis fan, why not? Their careers will always be intertwined, and anybody who thinks that any one of them is clearly superior - or inferior - to either of the others is kidding themselves.

Because if you're leaving it up to how it'll fall naturally, most likely Federer will not stay at the top so most will be satisfied with him tying the other two since that's better than getting surpassed.

In the end, it should be pretty close.
I don't think Federer will win any more slams. If he does, he'll get one but no more than that.
Djokovic is the furthest from the record but he'll likely win the most slams from here on out. I think he'll at least get 20 and have a final result of 21 or 22.
Nadal is currently closer to Fed, but he won't win as many slams from here on out. I think Nadal has 2 or 3 left in him.

Federer: 20
Nadal: 21
Djokovic: 21

That would definitely put you in the minority among the Federer fanbase. ;)

As Nole fan I voted yes.
In this situation Nole has 3 more slams(Nadal only 1, Federer 0), and that probably lead to a lot of other records: weeks #1, YE#1, maybe Masters and WTF, likely Big Titles, H2H vs Fedal, alongside NCYGS and Carreer Golden Master. So no many doubts about who would be the GOAT.
Also, I don't think Nole is going to finish the carreer with the slam record: I feel he can be a danger for Federer(Something like 35% finish both behind or above him, 30% finish tied) but Nadal is the most likely record holder at the end of Big 3's carreers.
So I can see why most Nadal fans say no.
Federer fans... Well... It's tricky for them. I understand the fear of view Fed overtaked, which is anything but impossible. But really they would accept that Federer never win slams anymore in exchange of a triple tie? Sad, but this poll say so.

You serious?

Consider Federer and Novak Djokovic at 20 slams.
Well, I am a Nadal fan and I voted yes. I would like the three of them to be tied at 20 Slams. :)

The thing is, if a member of the Big 3 ends up winning the Grand Slam race, his fanbase will likely get so cocky dismissing the other two. In a hypothetical scenario where the three of them end up tied with the same number of Majors, I believe rival fanbases would be more polite with each other.

No we would keep arguing over who is the most elegant and humble

Bc he barely won the last 2 and should have lost both really, that's about to catch up
During Djokovic's NCYGS run, he was taken to 5 against:
Anderson W15 4R: 67 67 61 64 75
Simon AO16 4R: 63 67 64 46 63
Regarding W19 F, he was nearly always in front or even on the scoreboard except for 40-15 and dialed in when it mattered most. AO20 F, his energy collapsed.
From the eye test, Djokovic displayed a high level of tennis throughout W19 and AO20.

Why do you think this? Nadal always has RG almost safe every year, and I don’t think this will stop soon. At least there are no signs, because AO just always was his weakest Slam and he only lost a very hard-fought match against Thiem there.

If Nadal wins RG, then Djokovic always needs at least 2 Slams per season to come closer. And of course Nadal will also have his chances in New York.

No this deal is the worst thing that could happen to Nadal because he's not benefiting anything. Not only does he only wins 1 slam from here on out which is already a bad deal because this upcoming RG is almost 80% in the bag and normally should at least be expected to win 1 or 2 more slams after this RG one, he'll also have the least claim GOAThood if they were all tied.

Yes with on 20 slams there'll still be debates about GOATS and in such case Nadal won't have much claims because the other 2 would most likely have a better resume and records outside of slam. Weeks at N1, year ends, WTF etc.

People start looking at other records in cases of ties slams and Nadal won't benefit in the case. His claim to GOAThood hs to be done via superior slam count.
