2003 Babolat Pure Control Team

Are there any available bumper guard / grommet sets that are compatible w/ the 2003 Babolat Pure Control Team - the 98" sq in.

The Pure Strike VS / VS Tour (2017) grommets fit:

• Babolat Pure Strike VS / Pure Strike VS Tour (2017 version)
• Babolat Pure Control / Pure Control Tour / Pure Control Tour Plus (2014 version)
• Babolat Pure Storm / Storm Tour / Storm Tour Plus

Would these grommets also fit the 2003 edition?

It is hard to say for certain. I believe that Pure Control Team from 2003 had the 16x20 pattern, and the woofer grommets, so there is a decent chance that those grommets would fit. However we haven't actually tried installing them into that racquet, and we don't have one of those racquets around the office. So with that we can't guarantee they will fit, and if you remove the current bumper/grommets, and they for some reason don't fit, then there is not much you can do to salvage the frame.

Thanks for the response. Yes, the 2003 version is a 16x20 w/ woofers. I have an extra frame lying around so it might be worth a shot.

Gentlemen, yes, they will fit. I have two Swirly Control Teams circa 2001 that I've had custom painted and installed these grommets on them in the past. Same mold as the 2003 Control Team. Have also installed them on a couple of my Pure Storm GT as well. The Control Team line has had the same mold since 2001 so the grommets will fit.
