2008 Beijing Olympics Drug samples restested. 31 fail

Looks like Bolt is going to lose an Olympic Gold Medal,

someone from the 4x100 2008 team failed.

Which means Asafa will lose his only Olympic medal.

They didn't retest everyone. They only retested, I think, those they think were intending to turn up this time around. So all the other 'cheats' presumably got away with it. As it says:

Thirty-one athletes hoping to compete at August's Olympics tested positive for banned substances at the 2008 Beijing Games and could now be ruled out of Rio, the International Olympic Committee says.

Is it coincidental that Rafa pulled out of the French and now Queens and possibly Wimbledon (with the Olympics immediately after)?

Nadal would certainly fall into the general category affected and they are not naming names, so who knows what the IOC is doing?

Will they be named and banned or will they be allowed to simply withdraw and how could that be done silently if it's a big name?

The International Olympic Committee announced at least 6.8% of 454 defrosted samples analysed from Beijing 2008 contained banned substances, with the results for 250 London 2012 samples expected to be revealed before the end of the month.

But also from the London Telegraph:

A wider re-testing programme of medallists from Beijing and London will eventually take place, including of anyone reallocated a medal as a result.
