After the women she's had to play to get to the SF she deserves it.
I do give Justine credit - Petrova tried to pull her down into a vortex of horrific play - Justine was able to pull back and get through.

I know. WTA is still thrash is ever. Henin is rusty as heck at this point it looks like and she is going to be in the final of her first slam back, LOL! I hope Serena doesnt have an off day in the final and let a totally out of form Henin fluke her way to the title basically.

I guess he is thinking she would have played better if she had a real opponent. Who knows, maybe. Her best match of the tournament so far by far was vs Dementieva. That was the only match she played fairly well for her standards in.
I guess we will also find out in the final vs Serena or even Venus too.

Ehh, it sounds like sour grapes to me. Henin's served poorly all tourney, though she did look better off the ground vs Wickmayer...everyone has bad days, what's to say the same wouldn't have happened if Clijsters was on the other side.

1. Since she is pretty.
2. Since the last match she played in pushing a 7 slam champion was a very good effort on her behalf and TW seems to really be on the "what you did yesterday" bandwagon often. Just look at how Clijsters was anointed the new WTA GOAT by some just since she won the U.S Open in impressive fashion.
3. Since this forum seems to love the women from Belgium.

Wickmayer's a young up and comer and will be top 10 by the end of the year. She had a good effort vs Justine and that was the first time most had seen her play, which is why you had the influx of people talking about her.
But I don't think anyone says she's ready to be a slam champ or knock off the top dogs just yet, so I don't see how she's so grossly overrated, at least not yet.
