What an absolute bummer for poor Francesca!

So glad she is doing well now but what a horrible, frightening experience for her. Here's hoping she's seen the b*****d off for good!!!

PS. Watched a documentary about tragic Elena Baltacha the other night. Still gutted about her!!!
Yeah, that really was heartbreaking

It is very sad. She is in the best years of her life and had to undergo a fight against a insidiously disease. Misfortune doesn't walks after the mountains, but after people.

Breast cancer.

They will kill her.

Just like they killed Novotna, Baltacha, and others too numerous to count.

Celebrities don't have a clue on what's going on in the real world.

Google the 1953 Fitzerald report.

What happened to Baltacha? I heard she died of liver cancer but she was only 31 I believe!!! How can a 31 year old be diagnosed with a horrid disease that typically affects people older than 60?

Heartbroken for Fransesca to have to go through this. Cancer is such a giant piece of s*** that I hope we will all destroy sooner rather than later!! Very happy to hear she's kicked the s*** outta this terrible disease and is back to living her best life. I wish her all the best going forward!! (y)

My father died of cancer in 1984 age 47. My wife from breast cancer in 2011 age 42. If they don't get the entire cancer out when they remove the tumor one's prognosis is not good. I wish I and others had good experiences. My cousin died of lung cancer at 40 and another died of breast cancer at 50. She thought she had beaten it and it came back a few years later. I also had two aunts(by marriage) die of ovarian cancer. Early detection seems to really be your only chance at a successful result like Martina Navratilova and Robin Roberts have had. Laura Ingraham and a few other celebrities. Please make sure you and yours are checking for lumps on a very regular basis.

Very sorry for your losses. Cancer is such a horrid disease. I hope we find a cure for it soon.

It's already been found.

Dozens of times.

But it costs nothing, so they aren't letting it out.

People should ask themselves why there isn't a national effort, in any modern country, to tabulate the cancer survival of people having used either only 'alternative' therapies, or orthodox therapies associated with alternatives ones (which is being done in many oncology centers, incognito) to treat their cancers ?

After all, they want SOOOO BAD to cure cancer, isn't it?

So why don't they keep these statistics, which is extremely easy to do should they want to ?

People assume naively it's being done and their cancer specialists know about it.

It's not.

Down in Mexico, alternative cancer clinics have been treating, and keep treating more and more, hundreds of thousands people for the last +60 years. How difficult would it be for an industry making +150 billions a year to allocate a budget to investigate survival ?

These vital statistics aren't being collected, and it gives cancer specialists an alibi when they claim there's no proof for alternative therapies to work.

This is where the worth of controlling science and research comes in.

Just like the cancer incidence rate after the 5 year remission limit following chemo and radiotherapy.

The treatments used to 'cure' the sick will cause other secondary and different types of cancers 5-15 years down the road.

Not too many statistics for those either... (another alibi for the cancer specialist to claim "He doesn't know").

It's against their best interests.

Why is cannabis considered a class A drug, 'without any recognized medical application' when both the folk medical history and thousands of published peer review scientific literature demonstrate it's beneficial effect in cancer.

They don't want the statistics tabulated and the treatments investigated because people would all of a sudden have easily understandable proof of "alternative treatments" offering much higher cancer survival and quality of life after it...

... and the +150 billions a year world chemotherapy market would evaporate into thin air..

Francesca will need all the luck she can get, believe you me.
