Chicago's #1 sports-talk radio's irreverent afternoon drive program hosts a 65 "team" tournament every year - The Tournament Of Bad - to coincide with the NCAA "March Madness" tournament.
The concept is simple. The show's two hosts - Terry Boers and Dan Bernstine, and their two producers - Matt Abatacola and Jason Goff each have their own, self named region and they each choose 16 things they consider "bad". Each "bad" thing is considered a team and they seed their teams of "bad" 1-16. Then it plays out much as the NCAA 64 team tourney, with the show's listeners voting on each match-up of "bad" until a "bad" champion is crowned.
The "bad" can be of any subject and not only limited to the world of sports. Some of the "bad" teams are insider, or Chicagocentric so those may not make much sense to many of you, but the majority of "bad" teams are universal in scope.
It's a pretty fun(ny) idea and I'm wondering what the members of Talk Tennis think are the strongest "teams" in this tournament.
