Djokovic is hardly a mental giant. Blake could still steal a set. He probably won't, but never say never.

It is already pretty obvious by the 1st set of this match Blake doesnt have enough game anymore to even hang with a top 5 player. Djokovic playing ultra conservative is still far too strong for a slowed Blake.
 
So...is this the end for Blake? Assuming Djokovic wins here...he really looks like a shadow of his former self pretty much.

Yeah it's not like Djokovic did that much to win the 1st set. He was just moving quickly to make sure he was set up for each shot. Blake just couldn't hang with his consistency and he made a billion unforced errors.
 
I would have liked to see Blake play the guy who he got mad at in the Olympics cause the guy said the ball didn't touch his racket and Blake got so mad at him and never got an Olympic medal...who was that guy?

Blake has been pretty woeful sadly. Had bp's in the first game, failed to convert, then sprayed errors all over the court for the next 7.

Djokovic is serving well though, which should be a relief for his fans.

Yeah I know it hasn't been great tennis, but they're not even attempting to talk about the match. Talking about some crap about Djoker's parents and the NY Yankees for some reason...now the story about Djoker's parents owning a pizza restaurant. Really poor stuff.
 
You know what, Blake isn't looking half bad in this 2nd set. I can see him sneaking it out if Djokovic has a slight mental collapse with a few DFs.

Blake is not known for consistency. But, to his advantage, neither is Nole! That's why I'm hoping Blake can pull out at least one set.
 
I wouldn't get too excited about Blake's more consistent play this set, it'll drop off soon =p

Djokovic could do with stamping out any flickers of hope though lest the crowd really get behind James and start to influence things.
 
If Blake wins and plays Fish next, I'm sure Fish will spot him a few points cause they are good friends and Fish would feel sorry for Blake.

If Blake somehow starts playing well enough to win this match, I'm sure he'll be able to hang with Fish pretty easily ;)
