This kind of tennis for Djokovic wont cut it in the future rounds. I could even see Fish taking him out playing like this.

Djokovic looks like he has better stamina, but I don't know if he can hang in their with the better players - if it goes 5 sets....he always looks like he needs an oxygen tank.

Are the stats wrong? It says that Blake has 22 winners and Djoker has 7 yet he is winning this match?Blake has 25 errors by the way.

Djoker didn't hit a non service winner till the 8th game of the match. He's playing conservatively but pretty well all in all, doesn't need to do too much since Blake hits himself off the court for the most part. As shown in this game.

No, he's going to lose to Fish next round.

I wasn't entirely serious with my comment. He has a chance, but I doubt he'll be able to beat Federer in the semis. He seems to always lose to Federer at the US Open, so I think Fed would have to lose to Soderling for Novak to have a chance at the final.

As for Fish, it will be a tough encounter for sure. I still think Novak can beat Fish, as he's beaten him all four times they've played and Fish has looked a bit vulnerable at times going 5 sets with Hajek and Clement today.

This match will be over in about 10 minutes....Blake must be embarrassed.

This was the expected result. Straight sets, one tough set. Anything more would have been a surprise. After the 1st set it is probably a relief for Blake to save some dignity with his 2nd set performance.

Done and Dusted then.

Blake played one good set but Djokovic did ultimately rise pretty well to that challenge. Novak served very well too so that's encouraging for a better performance here.

I'll duck out before it gets too late, if I wake to find Blake made the worlds greatest comeback I shall cry into my cereal =)

How about Soderling?

Sod's great on hardcourt, no question. I suppose for me he's the next in line as a possibility. I still think Fed's the master of this surface, though. Murray's been playing MUCH better of late and is uber-talented. Sod's a force to be reckoned with, but he's been a little inconsistent this year. I don't know...and then there's this new Rafa serve that, if continued, throws a monkey wrench into every prediction.

I love his Nadal and Sharapova impersonations though...he should do that again. By the way, where is that Michael Barkan guy that used to do the after match interviews?
