CYGS

Legend
I certainly hope it's another 3+ slam year.

1. Winning AO: sole leader in AO
2. Winning RG: DCGS and 2nd NCYGS
3. Winning W: ties with Nadal at 17th
4. Winning USO: 1st CYGS since Laver and 6 slams in a row (Another record tying achievement)

Every step in the right direction leads to an incredible achievement.

Hope he's more focused in majors than masters, a strategy that seems to work well for Federer.

I’ve thought about it but I don’t think he’ll win CYGS. If he couldn’t win it in 2015 then I don’t think he ever will.

I think he will have a multi slam year again though. RG still a tough nut to crack.

I wonder how a healthy and confident Djokovic will deal with a fast AO surface. Federer is always very good at the beginning of a season. I'm looking forward to AO19.
FO? Nadal or Thiem.
WIM? STAN THE MAN WILL BECOME A CAREER GRAND SLAM CHAMPION
UO? Carlos Ramos' first major as player!

How quickly the narrative changes on here :P

And how quickly certain members return when their favourite wins again :D

Very high probability he wins at least a slam next year, multiple? Sure. Don't think he can pull off the CYGS though.

Why not? Laver won his open-era CYGS at the ago of 30/31.
I think it depends on how well the 25+ y.o. players play. Novak will have no problem playing them in later stages of GS. Fearless young 20 something players could challenge him.

Djokovic will win CYGS this year, surpassing Nadal in slams, tying Laver's and Budge's records of winning all slams consecutively twice and winning six slams in a row, respectively. Fed's slam count and #1 records are next.

I know you're just hyping, but it's certainly on the table. Still it's very far away.

Basically he's a huge favorite for Wimbledon and USO, but I'm really not ready to consider him the favorite for RG. Not with Nadal's record there. 3 Slam looks pretty likely though.

Imagine the Slam pressure if he wins all the way to the USO.

I think 3 Slams is probable at this point if he stays healthy. I don't know about RG but I think he has to be a big favorite for Wimbledon and the USO. If he does pull it off, that would mean he did three 3 Slam winning years four years apart each time.

I'm leaning two slams at the moment. Aussie and US. Nadal will keep the French, and I have a feeling there's a surprise coming at Wimbledon.

Using astrology, the thing is Djokovic has come through the Saturn return (28-30 years) zone, without too much whining, but without too much winning either

And now you're seeing the winning. And you can say maybe he was a little fortunate in the running of things the last three slams, but then you would forget that the reason for that is because he didn't overly get in his own way, during the Saturn return, when he was facing challenges. Because people like Djokovic (And Federer, Nadal) don't wilt when placed in challenging situations. As a result, they know how to win, when it's time to win. Which is why you would do well not too expect Nadal to wilt despite the resurgence of Djokovic

Also expect Federer to put in a strong performance at AELTC this year
