Federer needs to return serve better.
Very true. He needs to work on his ROS so he starts commanding.

He can't let the young guys boss him around as he ages and loses even more steps on his movement and footwork.

Chiping ain't doing these days, it used to work on 2004-2007 but now guys are murdering these low slices.

Federer always looks good early rounds. It’s semis and finals he looks like he's ready to go home and sleep. Must be the age factor.

That is because Delpo is not pushing him out of his comfort zone at all. His serve will fall apart the first time someone does.
Wow, i wonder why tennischannel hasnt hired your expertis yet!

Benneteau, then Verdasco. So essentially a free pass to the QFs where I suspect Fish will get the best of him.

You're joking, right? If Rafa makes it to the quarter, he will eat Fish alive. Seriously. As if Fish had ever been able to beat Rafa on any surface...

Good boy. Delpo fights off 5 break points and then holds serve.

Just got back from playing Tennis, how was the first set?

Fish is a good player in Cincinnati. And he just pushed Djoker last week. He has a chance against anyone. In fact he seems to be the 3rd best hard court player in the world right now, lol.

True. Given Fish and Nadal's recent form, I'd be almost surprised if Nadal won. The Nadal who played against Dodig would lose to most "good" inform top players. Keep in mind this is one of the faster surfaces on tour, where servers get plenty of free pts, and Nadal's ROS gets exposed.

That was a giant point of destruction there. Del Potro vs Federer produces some of my favorite rallies...

Federer looking solid.

Delpo can't return Fed's serve and his own first serve is off. Looking good for Fed's camp.

I wonder who gets Delpo in their R16 match at the USO. Probably the second most dangerous floater after Tsonga.
