Ties will be played from July 8th to 10th, except for Argentina-Kazakhstan which will be played July 7-9.

It's an interesting set of ties. The last two ties look good and competitive, Delpo returns to DC and there is the question of how many bagels will Nole hand out.

The first Argentina-Kazakhstan rubbers are today. Matches start at 1400 GMT, with Monaco-Golubev up first, followed by Delpo-Kukushkin.

Bummed I won't catch USA vs Spain in all likelyhood. But I'll be a linesman for Iran vs Pacific Oceania Davis Cup tie so I'll be getting tennis either way. So stoked for this.

Delpo holds for 2-0 after saving two break points with a DTL BH and then a huge serve. He then unleashed one of his famed hard flat forehands.

Edit: Delpo wins the first set 6-2. The forehand is working accurately and the backhand looks heavy. Looking good so far.

Edit: Delpo having a Roger Federer-like day at the office on break points. 3/13.

Edit: Second set breadstick took almost an hour. Very long breadstick.

Edit: GSM Del Potro; 6-2, 6-1, 6-2

Del Potro will probably crush the out of form and out of shape Golubev in the next match.

Not the Qf's but Fed had a scare there losing the first set. His swiss polo looks so much nicer than the one that was sold.
