2012 ATP Sudden Death League: Monte Carlo Rolex Masters

Ooooooooh... Feel the danger as I pick Gianessi!!!! Not really. I'll be conservative and pick Llodra.

Kish and Jay, I see that you're both Torontians. Have you guys ever come together for a hit?

Nope....I don't think we should anyways, till I become better than 4.0! Llondra is dangerous as well on clay that is.

LOL! I'm not even close to being a 4.0...however, I have considered e-mailing you about hitting some time

Talkin' about dodging a bullet: I almost picked the colonel! WTH happened? Did he even show up against Gil?? :D

He hasn't played since his QF lost in Dubai. I do not know why he didn't sign up for Indian Wells, but he withdrew from the Miami event.

My visit to Seppi-town was quite pleasant while I see the bus to Andujar-ville has been delayed due to weather. Does anyone have a handle on the M-C weather forecast? I'm through but will you guys affected have to double up on Wednesday if they don't get to finish up today?

20 people would be eliminated if both Monaco and Andujar lost. This would be one of the biggest exoduses in a single day lol

WTF?? Juan was ahead and retired???

Remember he just won a tournament in Houston 48 hours ago. Having to recover from that, a trans-Atlantic flight, and a 7 hour time difference might have been too much to ask in such a short time. Really surprised more than a couple people took him based on those factors.

That's the reason I didn't pick him. I had a feeling he would be horribly jet lagged trying to play on Tuesday after winning the CC Championships here in Houston on Sunday.

Gil is a really good clay court player, not sure why anyone would pick Youzhny and think that's it's a lock he would beat Gil.

With the exception of Monte Carlo last year where he qualified and made the QF, his results have been terrible the last 2 years on all surfaces. Not that far fetched to think Youzhny could have won.

That being said, I would NEVER touch that match with a 10 foot pole in the sudden death game though. :-)
