Not sure what I think about this one, Probably going with Berdych in 2 or 3.
What do you guys think?
that's tough one.
match which will decide who gonna pack his bag earlier...
would rate Jo chances a tad higher.
Seriously don't know.
Berdych leads h2h 4-2. The last time they played Berdych won in 3 sets in the Stockholm final.
Though Tsonga beat Berdych in the Semfininals at the WTF in 3 sets.
Though Tsonga was in imperious form that year only losing to Federer twice by 3 sets. Even beat Nadal in 3, and destroyed Fish in 2.
For the form both are in....I rather see Berdych step forward...Tsonga just seemed flat in Paris and yesterday.
Berdych in three.
Berdych beat Tsonga in last two matches, played better yesterday, seems like he's in better shape than French, Berdych in 2
Depends on which Tsonga plays. I'm going for Berd.
Depends on who is having a better day mentally. These guys are so close together. I'll give Berdych the benefit of the doubt because I prefer his game but it's a slight edge in my mind.
The Berd in 2
Berdych in 2 easy sets
Berd for sure. Tsonga is in lousy shape.
If Berdych beats Tsonga in straights,(as is likely), he will move ahead of Murray in Group A as he will have won a match without dropping a set unlike Murray.
Wow very tough one but I'm gonna stick with Big Jo Stronga in 3 sets
What is Berdych playing at? Just break him already you clown.
Won't Djoko be qualified tonight if Tsonga wins? That's what the commentators said.
what would make things more interesting?
Jo or Berdych winning?
Tsonga isn't hitting his shots and he's still the same mental snowflake. First set to Berdych.
Tsonga may not win a set at this event.
Berdych. Tsonga ain't beating Murray in this kind of form, not a chance. Berdych if he wins this (and he probably will) still has a chance to qualify if he beats Djokovic. In this scenario we could have Berdych, Djokovic and Murray all with a 2-1 win-loss ratio, this could be very interesting.
Having said that, Berdych won't beat Djokovic and Tsonga won't beat Murray. You can book it.
Yeah....but Djokovic gonna qualify for the Semi anyways. He can not possibly lose to Berdych.
What I worked out id if Berych wins in straights tonight and Djokovic beats Berdych in straights, Berdych will be 3-4 in sets and 1 win 2 losses. Then if Murray takes a set off Tsonga but still loses he'll also be 1 win 2 losses with a 4-5 set win/loss. Tsonga will have 1 win 2 losses with a 2-5 and so thus out.
So who would progress out of Berdych with 3-4 or Murray with 4-5? I'm guessing Murray, in which case Murray might not even need to win against Tsonga to progress.
Wish they put Djokovic/Murray and yesterday's Fed game in night session so I can watch from work...
Lesser sets lost is Berdych, shouldnt he qualify.
oh i thought it was more won. Too confusing haha
Electric from Tsonga. He takes the second set but he's really living on the edge here. I hope he keeps up the form.
OR if Berdych wins today, loses to Djokovic, Tsonga beats Murray. Then we'll have Djokovic leading 3-0, then all the others with 1-2....
Seriously, RR gives me a headache. Too complicated for me to even bother. All I know is that players in this group will want to qualify as the #1 in order to avoid Fed in the semi.
Tsonga is the Li Na of the ATP.
It's hilarious how much better Tsonga is than Berdych, yet he is gonna lose AGAIN.
Tsonga is only the better player when he keeps calm. He's so mentally weak today.
No tsemi-finals for Tsonga. The glass cannon loses the third set 6-1.
Actually, if Tsonga beats Murray in straights and Djoker beats Berdych in straights, there's still a chance.
I was hoping to see some of that great, crazy, creative, powerful Tsonga, but unfortunately he was absent tonight.
OOOh Tommy! Nice third set.
that's what i'm hoping for... but tsonga doesn't look very good at the moment. :-?
Ahh been away but im back now, whats the score? has tsonga lost already?
Never mind, i see he lost and is now out, so murray will be playing a tsonga that has nothing to play for? i dunno if thats good for murray or bad...
