Whoops, I'll fix that. They've been playing like a 1 though.
Pepperdine here, as well, for R16.
Round of 16
Whew, Cal gave me a scare!
I'll take Kentucky in the Round of 16, and hope for a less stressful match, even though they're all close at this point.
Round of 16: Ohio St.
Round of 16 - Ohio State
Quarters - Virginia
Updated picks. Several different choices made - probably all will be right.
10isplayer, you are the only one that hasn't picked a Round of 16 winner yet.
My internet has been spotty lately so i haven't had time to check the board. This pick is probably too late but I'll pick kentucky just in case
Kentucky match doesn't start for another hour or two so you are good.
3 eliminated today by the Kentucky loss so 9 remain - scoreboard. Get your QF pick in before noon on Sunday if you haven't already made it.
USC vs Duke
Ohio State vs UCLA
Virginia vs Stanford
Georgia vs Pepperdine
Georgia for me.
Virginia to make it through the quarters.
Everybody has taken Georgia or Virginia thus far - 1 pick left to be made.
4 survivors left after my Dawgs were shown the door. I guess if there's a bright spot it's that I'm still in this contest - yeah for me.
Art Rust, Woodrow, TennisFan make sure you get your pick in before 5pm on Monday.
USC vs UCLA
UVA vs Pepperdine
looks like it will be nearly impossible for anyone to win now, considering the only people left have used UVA too early
TennisFan2day is the only one that hasn't already picked Pepperdine so he could take a chance and pick them to upset UVA and that'd leave him with USC in the finals. The rest of us have to take USC but it appears that no one will have the champion left for the finals. Georgia screwed us all.
That is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to take Pepperdine in the Semis. I don't think it will happen but it will keep it interesting.
I'll take USC since it's my only pick left then I'm out one way or another.
I can only pick from the top half, so I will pick USC.
The winner is the last one(s) standing, which doesn't necessarliy mean picking all the way through to the final. That said, I'll go with UCLA.
Woodrow and myself made it to the finals but we're both out of picks. Thanks for playing it helped make the tournament a little more interesting.
