quick question,in 2010 i self rated at 4.0 and after 4 matches got hurt  and couldnt finish the reg season and was computer rated at 4.0. So this spring I played 12 matches at 4.0 and 15 at 4.5 and am wondering the odds of getting bumped up ? I went 10-2 at 4.0 all 1singles Wins - 3,3. 1,3. 1-0. 1,3. 0,0. 1,0B and 3,2B. and losses 4-6,6-4,1-0 all Reg season. Districts 4.0 i played 3 #1singles wins 4,2B. 6-3,1-6,1-0 and 4,3B. District playoffs 4.0 I lost 4,3B to a 3.5B who also had been playing 4.0 all his reg season

At 4.5 i played all doubles and went 8-7 with 12 of 15 matches being split sets within 4 games of the final scores and in 2 actual loses won more games than the winners, both were benchmarked. Only played one actual combo of 4.0 4.0 at 4.5, Just wondering if anyone could give me there input. much appreciated.

You will be bumped. Playing up and being competitive, even if you don't win, will quickly get you bumped up...

I would expect you would be bumped up. If you play up you are much more likely to be bumped up. I've seen a lot of cases where people win almost all of their matches at one level and don't play up and they are not bumped. However, there was one case where a friend of mine lost every match she played all year long but she got bumped up because she played two matches at a higher level and both were very close.
