this was a disaster from the point of view of a Tsonga fan... far, far too many unforced errors, and gave it away at the end there...

Finally Murray reaches a Wimbledon final, about damn time. You gotta love the emotion he's showing right now.

Not a bad Wimbledon from Jo especially considering the fact that his participation was in doubt, defended his SF points.

That was a very clutch performance from Andy. Something that's been working well for him this tournament. He's served remarkably well.

honestly though, this was an amazingly entertaining match in the third and fourth sets, but Tsonga's game was insanely erratic even for his standards

Unbelievable. Murray will enter the final an inspired man. Very well deserved. Congratulations to Great Britain, this is your chance!!!

Both players were unbelievable, Tsonga should feel no shame in what he did, instead he should come back and ride this performance to the Olympics and Wimby next year.

It reminded me of the match he played against Nadal in Miami this year. Too little too late. He is nowhere near the form he was in last year.

Very entertaining last two sets. Credit to Jo, very classy guy and I do believe he will get his day.

As for Andy, I couldn't be happier for him. Bring on the Fed.

I honestly think he should switch back to Wilson or something, the APD may have worked well for him on the clay this year but I always though Tsonga looked much better with a Wilson racquet

also, typical Murray response in post match interview... LOL

Anyone else feel like Murray is "destined" to win this? :( Especially with a David-cup like atmosphere and a hostile crowd. I would rather not see/hear Federer getting booed and his each and every unforced error being wildly cheered for.

Well, the crowd was very tame today. The final might be a different story, though, as there is so much more in the line.

Coach Blinky is the reason he's through.
I actually felt tears welling up when he won. Strange.
Hope Murray has enough left for the final?

Tears were close here too, i never thought Id see a British finalist in my lifetime, for him to be Scottish is just amazing

Well, the better man will deserve it. I hope it's Roger but good for Andy to be in the finals once again.

Why didn't Tsonga turn up until 2 sets down? Anyone saying it was a great effort by him are wrong, think he could have won if he'd played properly to start with...

Absolutely.
Quite annoyed with Tsonga this time, he played some insanely entertaining stuff in the third and fourth, but as far as a solid, level-headed effort to win the game goes, this was an appalling showing
