Jaychu- thanks for organising. Was fun whilst it lasted! What have I learnt? That I should never pick a player I've never heard of. That it seems outside sharapova, who know one has picked, that the state of women's tennis is an absolute lottery. And that I still can't stand to watch sharapova play, but her results (so far) are worthy of respect in a fickle field.

So it is down to the final 5 (actually 3).

Doublebounce - Only has S Williams remaining
FEDERERNADAL13 - Has no picks remaining (has been eliminated)
GasquetGOAT - Has S Williams and Kerber remaining
Ico - Has no picks remaining (has been eliminated)
lonux - Only has Azarenka remaining

So realistically, only GasquetGOAT has a chance of becoming the first ever WTA SDL Champion.

The next event will be the Olympics. After that it will be the US Open (final event of the season)

Next year, the schedule will look like this for 2013:
1. Australian Open
2. Indian Wells
3. Miami
4. Madrid
5. Rome
6. Roland Garros
7. Wimbledon
8. Cincinnati
9. Toronto
10. US Open
11. Beijing (still debating whether to do this or not since it is a Premier Mandatory event)
12. WTA Championships

Basically, we are only going to do the top tier events that are combined men's and women's (except WTA Championships...and maybe Beijing)

There were no survivors, but congrats to Doublebounce for advancing the furthest. I will update the rankings and race on Sunday.
