Of course it is. A bit. Which is why I used a smiley, btw. But discounting a seven-time champion, winner of the last edition and winner of the most titles on grass since like forever is *exactly* like Clarky saying that Nadal has no chance at all of winning RG.
Not saying that he's going to win, nor that he's the favourite, but of course he has a chance. With diminishing returns each year now that age has caught up with him, but still, it was enough in 2012, so he's still in the running.
So, Federer for Wimbledon, anyone? Heck yeah. At least as much as Nadal, Djokovic, or Murray. Maybe even as much as some of them put together.
(Oh, and I know it's fashionable to diss Roddick on these boards, but he and Hewitt were definitely serious competition on grass half a dozen years ago. Had Roddick won in 2004 and 2009, it would have been totally deserved.)
