With both Federer and Nadal playing this year it should be interesting. Let's hope they both come to play and we see some good matches.

Who's your pick?

LOL...Haas? That shoulder is kaput!

Rogi will play like he has a street named after himself!

I know, but he's listed to play, we will see. Maybe he retires in his home country?

The Swiss Maestro will not disappoint this tourney, even if that means having to take out the Spanish Bull himself!

Federer will win this one.

Nadal by the way, i won't be surprised if he pull out, or just lose in the first or second round.

Same here. If Nadal wins Roland Garros, I think he might withdraw. I like how he's actually playing a warm up grass tourney this year, shows that he wants to improve on his extremely poor Wimbledon results the past couple of years.

Nadal is playing more aggressively now than he was at 2012/2013 Roland Garros, so he might be in ideal mindset/form for grass.

Fully counting on Federer to win this; Raonic might be a tricky opponent. He played Federer close in 2012 and has improved since.

Expect Nadal to lose early again.

Kohlschreiber could do some damage as well; he's in good form.

I think that after the two dissapointing grass seasons, Nadal would threat Halle more seriosly and storm the late rounds in London.

Nadal has a point to prove about his grass form. I can see him winning this title and then Wimbledon, a la 2008.

for all the whiners about Nadal's draw at RG (easy for 10 years now) he got a tough one here (Dustin Brown, Kohl, Jerzy, Milos, Fed)...so rejoice!

sorry, Kohl or Jerzy

Probably going to be Brown, Kohls, Raonic/Gasquet, then Federer. Definitely a tough draw considering the players there.

funny Nadal comment in presser...

"I hope my knee will have the positive feelings on grass." -Rafael Nadal on his Halle/Wimbledon prospects.

"I am going to Halle tomorrow. I urgently want to have a successful start to the grass court season. Halle is a tremendously organized tournament with a great audience.

I hope my knee will have the positive feelings on grass. I feel it better on the other surfaces this year compared to 12 months ago. I love Wimbledon, that’s why I know it’s a strong decision for me to go to Halle straight away, but really, I can’t miss the tournament twice. I will try my best.

Probably the result will not be the perfect one, considering all the fatigue and the sudden change of surface. But I really want to try my best".

I really want Federer/Nadal to play in the final, as I'm pretty sure Federer would beat him there (one of the few). That said, I'm guessing Nadal won't reach the finals, if he even plays.

Raonic is playing doubles with Youzhny against Robin Haase and Nishikori. Interesting, two young talents trying their hand in doubles.

Can Raonic even play on grass?

He looked promosing to me in 2011 but then he made that awkward slip at Wimbledon which caused his hip injury. He seemed a bit uncertain with his movement on grass the next year. He did play Federer close in Halle though. Potential is there, movement is the question mark.

so RAFA is playing this for real. ????? LOL. Isn't this too much ? after winning French open. I say RAFA is just asking for injury here and this is bad decision to play this

Completely agree. And his back didn't look 100% yesterday in the 4th set. He needs a rest.

Nope. Uncle Toni said cramps were the problem-
"He told me about the cramps. He asked for serum because he was very, very tired. He was cramping all over. I even called the doctor"

That is what Nadal told Toni when he hugged after winning. That's why Nadal wasn't moving well in the 4th set. Pretty obvious too when he was too cramped to pose with the trophy properly.

And again no mention of a back problem-
"I am going to Halle tomorrow. I hope my knee will have the positive feelings on grass. I feel it better on the other surfaces this year compared to 12 months ago. Proably the result will not be the perfect one, considering all the fatigue and the sudden change of surface. But I really want to try my best".

Plus we saw how Nadal's service speeds increased at the end of Roland Garros. And Nadal is already practicing at Halle. This picture was produced about 8 hours ago-

Accidentally voted for Nadal, but I meant to vote for Federer. In best of three, with Nadal having just won the French and transitioning to a completely different surface, I think Federer could win even should he have to beat Nadal in the final. Chances are Nadal loses early, though, as he has in recent years when playing these grass warm-up events. I'm sure his eyes are on the main prize of Wimbledon.
