Maybe the fact it's true played a part.

in that case i can tell you that, having watched him grow as a ténis player (he was born in a city 20 miles from mine) he is nowhere near a clay specialist...

not even his favourite surface!

so how exactly is it that your (or his opinions) are suddenly true? unless you think your opinion = fact!

Terrible quality. Brown isn't even trying to return the ball inside the court. He just takes a wild cut and misses it by 15 feet.

EDIT: YES! Minibreak. C'mon Kohl, put this terrible show to an end.

Feel bad for Brown. He really wanted it and walked off the court with his head down.

He just has a very poor return game. You can only bank on those wild swings so much.

Nadal should have been fined for "lack of effort" vs Brown.

Dustin was going to win anyway but...Nadal didn't give two..

Great tiebreak in the 3rd set between Brown and Kohlschreiber. Not a fan of Brown at all but I won't lie, I was entertained at certain points in that match.

Semifinals:

Philipp Kohlschreiber
vs.
Alejandro Falla

Kei Nishikori [4]
vs.
Roger Federer [2]

I like Kohlschreiber to come out on top in his match, though Falla is playing solid tennis this week. Watched both his matches.

As for Federer vs Nishikori, no idea. Federer should win but you just never know with him these days and plus, Nishikori is no pushover. I'll take Federer to win though.

I don't think Federer will win, unfortunately. That said, I'd not be upset to see Kei win - I like him as a player. I think Fed might just get his gremlins back at key moments after losing twice to Kei the last two times.
