I suspect Nishikori's withdrawal was a blessing in disguise for you. Also, with pretty much everyone above you in the Race & Rankings long out of this tournament, if you end up winning it you could shoot way up into the Top 5 of both.

Everyone made their picks before the walkover in their respective match, so everyone will go through. This kind of makes Fed's loss in the QF sting even more for those of us who picked him.
