I don't see how it would be a surprise for Rafa to win a final on clay.
You have to take new users with a grain of salt, considering how many repeat offenders that get banned show up. I'm not saying that's the case here, But, I'm generally suspect about new users being aggressive.

Other than kOaMaster, who was only playing his second tournament, the other 4 champions were already in the Top 8 of the Race, so there are lots of changes at the top.
In the Rankings, we have a new #1 for the first time in 2014, as Gonzo_Style jumps from #5 to narrowly take the top spot from dcdoorknob. Despite the title, ark_28 falls from #2 to #4, while Boozyuzi falls from #4 to #8, FEDERERNADAL13 drops from #9 to #11, while TopDawg climbs from #12 to #10. Interestingly, PDJ improves from #10 to #9 despite not earning a single point at Rome.
In the Race, Gonzo_Style rises from #2 to reclaim the #1 spot as well, ark_28 rises from #3 to #2, Wynter climbs from #5 to #3, TopDawg jumps from #8 to #5, and Big_Dangerous rises from #14 to #10. Meanwhile, I plummet from #1 to #4, beast of mallorca drops from #4 to #7, Boozyuzi falls from #6 to #8, and Team10 drops from #10 to #13.
