That was a strange final. Like a retired pro facing a talented 14 year-old. Isner can't move, he's like Bambi on ice. Isner's 2nd serves are about 10-15 mph faster than Sela's 1st :O

Loved the Sela backhand, though. Nice.

Those of you who object to PopSoks should never consider writing a novel as you have no imagination. Or maybe you prefer VasJacks...or JackPosps, how about AmCans, or the JackVase's? I like the last one my self.

This one isn't even as bad though, because "Dolg" at least sounds like "Dog", but "Posp" sounds nothing like "Pop".

Why not? It's exactly the same pattern--removing the penultimate consonant sound.

And it's pronounced "dol-go-POL-ov" anyway, so the stress is not even on the syllable we are discussing, whereas it is with "POSS-pee-shill."
