AAC has some learning to do - they have USF down as the #2 and #4 seed when obviously it should be UCF as the #4

Match #1 9:00am CT #2 USF vs #7 UConn
Match #2 12:00pm CT #3 Louisville vs #6 Temple
Match #3 3:00pm CT #4 USF vs #5 SMU

Well Conference USA says brackets to be updated April 13th and yet still no updates.

My friend is with Winthrop women's tennis and he told me about some crazy stuff going on in the big south women's final. Winthrop was down 2-3 in the final to Charleston Southern. Winthrop girl on 5 wins to tie it at 3, the girl on 6 thinks that's the clinching point so age throws her racquet in celebration midpoint but then she realizes that she actually has to finish. No big deal
Though she's up 6-4 5-0 40-15. Well she loses the next two points then the game. Still in commanding 5-1 position. Then the collapse comes and it's now tied 5-5. Then came the rain. The match was suspended at 5-5 in the 2nd. It's still raining. If they cannot get the match on by 7 pm then the whole match will have to be replayed in Charleston because they are the higher seed. (Big south does not allow indoor in the tournament, no exceptions) . So they are praying for the rain to stop

Big South twitter feed says men's and women's finals are rained out today, will be completed next week.

ULL and USA to battle for Sun Belt Men's Title, will be a tight contest
Georgia State women face USA in Women's Final
USA Women came back from 3-0 down to beat UT-Arlington in SF's

South Carolina State will play for their 8th and 10th straight MEAC titles for men and women, respectively. Matches are today in Cayce, SC at 11am and 2pm. Norfolk State men and Bethune-Cookman women will provide the challenge. Bethune-Cookman women beat SCST in the regular season 4-3, while NSU has split their last two outings with the men.

Columbia takes the Ivy League title dropping only 1 point in all of conference play (Given no matches get played out once they are decided). Very impressive season from this team

Belmont dropped a tough one to Jacksonville State 4-3 in the Ohio Valley final. Brian Baker is still a volunteer assistant there and he came down to the Vandy/Florida match yesterday after the OVC final. He said their #6 (who lost the deciding match) started cramping after the 1st set TB and could barely move over the final 2 sets. Tennys Sandgren was watching the SEC Tournament as well said he was still recovering from hip surgery.

George Washington took out VCU 4-1 to win the A10. No NCAAs this year for VCU

really bad downfall this year for them
remember they were in the Blue-Gray-Finals, and led Boise for a long time of the match...:oops:

but their season after then went on a downfall
but they still ve beaten 3 teams, who surely makes NCAAs...
(Miss St., NC State , Texas Tech)
they will lose Argente & Heugas, that will really hurt

WCC right now:

Santa Clara vs Saint Marys is tied 1-1, with St.Marys winning 3 of the other 5 1st sets

SF took doubles from LMU and also looks tied in singles

Pacific took doubles from BYU, BYU won 3 first sets , Pacific 2 right now

St.MArys leads 2-1 now but the 3rd singles will go to Santa Clara
another single is in 3rd set now, St.Clara took 1st set, but St.Marys 2nd set

WCC - Santa Clara beat San Francisco 4-0. Doubles point came down to a TB and San Fran was up on the other 3 courts when Santa Clara wrapped it up. Pacific and Portland are tied at 2 but Portland is close to making it 3-2. The other 2 appear headed to a 3rd set.
