Anyway, Federer not looking that good. Most annoying part is how many returns he misses, especially if you remember how good he used to be against big servers.

As I type that he crushes a FH return!

All the top seeds play at least one match on Lenglen or have you not watched Roland Garros before?

Why was than everyone so upset when Nadal had to play his first match on Lenglen, despite him asking the match to be moved a day ahead.

Why double standards?

Because it's more natural for a 8 time champion to start his defense on the main court.

This is Djokovic's third match. Get over it.

Radio RG commentator: Federer becomes a different person in Swiss-German. He has doubts in Swiss-German that he never has in French or English.

It was just that people wanted his first match to be on Chatrier, since his last match gave him the title there. But FO don't have these traditions like W do.

Why? The commentator is pretty spot on about that. Federer is way more candid and revealing about what's happening to him when he talks to the swiss press, not just the swiss german press. Most players are very different talkers when talking in their native language -- Rafa also another that speaks more freely and candidly when speaking in spanish.

Maybe I misunderstood what they were talking about out of context - I took it to mean that when he thinks in Swiss/German he plays worse than when he is being French! If they are talking about how he expresses himself in the different languages then it makes sense I just thought they were talking about the effect on his game.

I don't understand how Cilic can be so high up on the ranking. I've never seen him played good against a good player.

Yes, it's more about how they express themselves and (probably) how familiar they are when the reporters are from their home countries. In Fed's case, it's not a big country and the few tennis journalists have been interviewing him for years, so you get less of the PR-type and defensive responses, etc.

I'm a fan of Edberg 8)

But I want a Nadal - Djoko final. And sure, I wouldn't mind if Djoko lost it cause I don't like the guy :)

Same here! I'm a fan of Seles. I think it will be funny if Rafa lost in final, in one epic match. I like all of players, 'cuz I like tennis. :D

Tursunov is just in the zone for the last 10 minutes or so, since being down 0-40 in his last service game. He is just closing his eyes and hitting as hard as he can lol, takes the second set.
