Raonic may win this because he's more match-hardened this year. Simon is great in spurts but Raonic maintains a decent level for longer and has been very consistent this year.

Why do some in the French crowd make that annoying "trumpeting" sound in the middle of games? It's very irritating!

This was asked yesterday - it is a bull fighting chant. Bull fighting is popular in Spain/France, it is part of the culture and doing it at the tennis highlights the fight to the death atmosphere of the tennis match :)

It's annoying. Tell them to stop or we will come over there take back our territory :)

If you are going to play a baseline retrieving/counter-attacking game then you need better passing shots than Simon displayed there. He had some real opportunities in that last game.

I think he'd rather play both of them than Tsonga if he had that choice.

I agree, because as impressive as Raonic is, he really is only good at pushing the big guns, not actually beating them. Whereas Tsonga has beaten Federer/Djokovic/Murray at slams (and he beat Nadal, but it was 2008 AO and Nadal has won their last 5 outdoor hardcourt meetings).

Er...AO wasn't a slam in 2008 :-?

But none of those 5 was in a slam
