God do I hate the French crowd.

That's why I always root against French players. Not because of them specifically but because of this obnoxious crowd. I like to see them disappointed.

Unfortunately this has been a bad day, far too many of them have won matches.

This level of bullying always reminds me of that incident where the Paris-Bercy crowd flashed a laser pointer at Rafter's eyeballs when he was playing some French guy. Some of the worst sportsmanship I've ever seen. And the press didn't even talk about it at the time.
