Andy's energy levels seem to fluctuate a lot at the moment.
It did look extremely humid in there with a lot of people fanning themselves in the crowd. Ferrer looked like he had a bathtub of water thrown on him so I don't think it was just his energy levels that were causing him problems but what was sapping them
If he wins this tournament, he's pretty much guaranteed the O2 isn't he?
If he wins, he overtakes Berdych who is in 7th. Whilst its not 100% certain, you would have to say there is little chance for all 3 of Berdych/Ferrer/Raonic to all do well enough at Paris to overtake him.

^^^That extra week off between Paris and London should definitely benefit him though Mainad. With the amount of tournaments he's been playing recently he'll need it!

I wonder if Murray thinks he can get back to nr 4 by end of year. Given Stan's shocking form, it's not entirely out of the realms of possibility.
I haven't had a chance to watch many of Murray's matches since the USO. Does he have that crazy forehand he was using against Djokovic for ~1 hour at the USO or is it gone?
There was an extended period during the USO QF when he was hitting huge forehands and Novak kept going back to that wing to break it down.I'm not sure what you mean, but he's hitting huge shots off both wings today. Currently up a set and a double-break.
(not yet, i thought it was an ace, was leading 6-37-6 Chardy![]()
