Wow, I can't believe Sharapova actually lost. This really opens up the door for Bouchard now, although I'm actually disappointed both Serena and Sharapova lost. I didn't necessarily want the way cleared for Genie, I wanted her to battle her way through.

I think so. It's close, but this was a pretty big upset even though I felt Kerber had more of a chance than most people thought.

She'll still have to battle. This upset in no way guarantees that Bouchard will win the tournament. In fact Kvitova, Halep and Lisicki are all arguably still better than her on grass. Kerber really deserved that, and I hope she comes out playing well again tomorrow, but it's a sad reality of tennis that most times that doesn't happen. But if she does, it will be a super tough match for Bouchard. I'm just happy that now even though I want Bouchard to win the tournament, she won't potentially lose to anyone that I really don't like if that makes sense.
All in all, I didn't want Sharapova to lose because Bouchard would've had to play her next, I wanted her to lose because I don't like her.
