So as we know, each year there are various awards handed out.
Player of the year
Doubles team of the year
Most improved player
ATP star of tomorrow (youngest person in top 100)
Comeback player of the year
Fan Favourite Singles and Doubles
Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award
Humanitarian of the year
Tournament of the year

2014 winners included;
Djokovic as player of the year. The Bryans as doubles team of the year. Most improved player was RBA. Star of tomorrow- Borna Coric. Comeback player was Goffin. Fan favourite was Federer and the Bryans. Stefan Edberg award was Federer. Humanitarian went to Murray.

The ATP recently announced that players in contention for Comeback player of the year are;
John Millman (AUS) Ranked 2014: 159. 2015: 76
Ajlaz Bedene (GBR) Ranked 2014: 145. 2015: 50
Benoit Paire (FRA) Ranked 2014: 118. 2015: 23
Jack Sock (USA) Ranked 2014: 42. 2015: 32.

Also Star of tomorrow looks like it'll be taken out by Alexander Zverev (GER). Youngest player in the top 100. He's 18 and a half and ranked 83rd in the world. Other players featured in the video for future stars include; Thanasi Kokkinakis (AUS), Borna Coric (CRO), Hyeon Chung (KOR) and Andrey Rublev (RUS).

It depends how you assess it. Djokovic finished last year with one grand slam title and 11 360 points. This year he's won 3 Grand Slam titles and 16785 points. So he won 3 times as many Grand Slam tournaments this year as last, and has 5400 more points than last year. No player can match that rate of improvement.

Haha was just thinking Djokovic could lay claim to most improved & exactly on that basis...of course he won't win it but pretty hard to argue against!
