The draw ceremony is underway. I will post it later. Nishikori is the defending champion.

Will Nadal regain his crown or falter like last year?

Have at it.

Looks like Raonic withdrew. He is not in the draw. Nadal got all his friends...Almagro, Verdasco, Gulbis, Ferrer, Fognini.

Jesus this is weird seeing Nads NOT #1 in a 500 or less clay tournament.

Would like to see Nishi VS Nadal final, Kei needs some justice for last year.

This is a pretty good draw. Some good overall depth. Expect Nadal to win, not sure if he gets Nishikori in the final though.

I see that a 17-year-old Mallorcan has advanced to main draw through qualifying. Seems he was an RG boys finalist in '14. Too early for a call on his Munar-nifiscence potential???

Nadal for me - he'll be desperate to consolidate his ranking of 4th before RG

On a side note - really curious to see Kyrgios' game on clay

Should Nadal fail to win this - how would people rate his chances at RG? Or would you rather wait and see Madrid / Rome?

Don't think Kyrgios is going to beat Ferrer if he makes the QF.

Munar was more munificent in giving Paire six breaks in eight service games. At least he broke twice himself to avoid a pair of bakery products.

Well, after looking at the draw... I'm pretty sure the winner is going to be from the bottom-half.

Nadal's bottom draw isn't totally straight-forward. He could get booted by any one of these guys if they have a good day ==> Fognini/Verdasco, Andujar/Lopez/Mayer, Ferrer.

If Nadal gets past his own half, I don't see anyone in the top half who can beat him. None of those guys are in remotely decent form.

I'll go with Nadal.

Nadal is gunning for a record-breaking 9th Barcelona title. He's also gunning for a 47th clay-court title (Nadal sits on 46 at the moment, just 3 behind Vilas at 49). Nadal would have 9 titles at two events, something completely unprecedented.

It sets the tone nicely for the rest of Nadal's year- with wins at Barcelona, Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros, Nadal wins his 50th clay-court title, including an 8th Rome title, his 3rd Madrid title in a row (and 4th overall in Madrid, 5th if we count indoors Madrid), a 9th Barcelona, and most importantly- a 10TH ROLAND GARROS TITLE AND 15TH SLAM. Just remarkable what he's aiming for.

You forgot to mention the Helsinki, Jakobstad, Kemi, Salo, Äänekoski and Mikkeli tournaments he's aiming for.
