IMO it would be a win-win situation. Either Nole achieves another IW/Miami double or Murray wins his first Masters 1000 in two years which would be wonderful for him and his fans. Bring it on!

Based on what I've seen in last hour, Nishikori is only hope for Murray avoiding embarrassment of equalling Nadal's losing streak against Djokovic. He's not losing here before Final but he's not winning Final facing Djokovic.

Good win, Anderson is problematic.

Is he? I don't ever remember seeing him beat a top player, and he seems to have little idea about strategy. I lost count of how many times that he hit a pretty forceful shot but refused to either go for an outright winner on the return and/or hit a forcing shot and come to the net. "Continuing" the point vs Murray is not in his best interests, but he seems oddly oblivious to that fact.

Murray-Berdych should be interesting if both make it.

Berdych leads the H2H in masters 4-0. That's indeed interesting. Murray has never beaten Berdych in a masters. Let's see if this will change if they meet each other.

None of them have a particularly tough opponent at the moment. I expect both of them to get past their opponents. Berdych has a 7-0 record against Monaco, so he couldn't have hoped for a better opponent.

Both off them have to win their matches today to meet each other,right?
