Novak is looking to cap off an incredible 2015 season here in London at the WTF.
He leads Nishikori 4-2 (last loss coming at the 2014 US Open).
These two clashed in the WTF semis last year, with the world no.1 prevailing 6-1, 3-6, 6-0.

Who comes out on top in this opening match?

As much as I love Nishikori... going with Djoko on this one.

Though, I don't mind being wrong on this one either if that's what ends up happening.

Nishikori will probably quit if he's losing. I used to like him but it's getting old.
Nishikori has a very nice head to head against his entire group at WTF. Quite injury prone recently, again, and don't see that changing. Djokovic is well aware of recent history and is in top form, so straight sets this time, and one set will be close.

If Nishikori is fully fit and playing well, he can beat Djokovic. Gasquet is a much tougher opponent for the Japanese than the Serb.

Those draw photos of Kei doesn't look very promising, looks ill already. Would love if he won but he has no chance in hell. Novak in 2 easy sets.

What's the latest on Nishi's back?
Novak in 2. He'll make sure to crush the opposition before they get any ideas they might stand a chance

Nishikori feels like the 0-3 guy that usually sticks out in at least one of the groups, just because he didn't do much or play much in the fall

Nishikori and Djokovic walking onto court now and Nishikori holding what i can only describe as a large white purse.

Kei needs to start well. If he can take the first set, he can win. If Novak takes the first set, it's over for the Japanese.

I fear for Nishikori...

He's getting bullied on the points, Djokovic looking the more dominant early on. 2 BP chances

Court looks about the same as last year - Castle says it's not that quick. Lighting looks good, and Novak is settling down. 2 break points.
