This is why I hate the Sky Sports commentators - every single one of them. Peter Fleming just said had Wawrinka played 80-90% he would have definitely beaten Rafa. He actually said that. And he sounded so sure; so cocksure in fact. The disrespectful dick. Hey, Fleming, what did you ever win in your sorry career?

This guy sums up the joke of a Sky commentary/analysis team :)

Ferrer is playing on Nadal's level IMO, better to be honest based on their form today (although that can vary a lot). Nadal will most likely beat him due to the mental factor, but that is definitely not going to be an easy match. Murray played a lot better than Nadal and Ferrer was neck and neck with him until 4*-5 at each set.

Rafa has almost the same group as he had in 2013! Any way Wawrinka should be spoken to about this effort today?

What's the difference between his effort today and his effort in the 5th set vs Djokovic at the AO?
He got bagelled in that 5th set.
See, its not about effort, its about his timing being off.
When he loses his timing, its curtains for him.

Hard not to like Rafa when he's in interviews. His English is just endearing :D
Damn right he is.
The guy is so ridiculously charming during his interviews, I just cannot understand people not liking him (apart from his playing style on court, of course).

He was missing by miles...20 feet out. Why are you of all people trying to rationalize his poor effort? The better question is why do you always appear on here and MTF when Rafa wins but go MIA the moment he loses? Not much of a tennis fan are ya?

You are talking about the 5th set of the AO vs Djokovic, I agree he was missing by miles and Djokovic didn't have to do anything.
He actually played better vs RAFA today than in that AO 5th set.

Even so, that's very rare and he didn't finish it did he?

Murray and Nadal consistently give him more problems than Wawrinka.

wasn't fair, he was playing Roger and Mirka at that point...karma-wise, Fed's back got what it deserved the next day....and then everyone kissed, had a Lindt chocolate, and made up

I can never root for him when he's playing but as soon as he's off the court he's just so damn likeable! Maybe when he's in his twilight he'll get my support.

Imo a bit similar with Robin Soderling - Often looked like a complete deuche on court but off court was very humble and down to earth. Met him many years ago as me and my brother had booked the court the hour after him and Magnus Norman training.

You have to admit that Novak has to be Scared watching this match.......Rafa is just not missing at all and running around like a Deer MOnguase composite man...........

Novak scared? Oh my you lost the plot kid lmao. Novak will crush this Nadal. Nadal wasn't that great just Stan was terrible haha Novak will win in easy 2 sets against Rafa

Fed said the same thing to the sky pad maybe the grips are just looked into to much these days?

I think it's the same as with the racquet specs frankly - us mere mortals ocd about everything from inter-string friction numbers to whether our leather grips come from cows that grazed in the same field etc etc, while the pros focus fully, well first and foremost at least, on performance and execution.

But if I would've had to guess before, I would surely have thought they could answer that question about the grip - almost serves to prove the point above

I think Rafa will beat David very easily, 3 and 4. No way will Ferrer beat him here.

Yeah imagine if RAFA wins this World Tour Finals, it will mean all of Djokovic's titles this year count for zip, because RAFA gets the last laugh....

Have you gone mad? This 2015 season by Djoko is one of the greatest seasons of all time. Winning the world tours or not isn't going to change that. Nadal winning world tours would save a bit of face on his terrible season and give him a crumb of comfort. Nole winning it just maybe cements the greatest year since laver.

Nole is winning this again anyway though ;)

They are tied 4-4 on hardcourt and Ferrer is up 2-1 on indoor hardcourt. Nadal has a good shot at a win, but I don't think it will be easy by any means. If Nadal does win, it will mean he is finally actually hitting his groundstrokes well, because Ferrer is tough for him on this surface when he lacks rhythm. The way he returns everything deep and takes the ball so early is tough for Rafa if he isn't on his game.

I disagree. This Nadal was insane fast and was running down everything. Novak will not be able to hit ONE winner against this fast Nadal

Nothing is won yet mate. There are 4 matches to go. ;)
Rafa in the driver seat. If Fed wins, just gives Murray the win. Otherwise win the group. Not sure if Bull would subscribe to this wisdom, but Nadal controls his own Djoko fate.
You are right, because the group Nadal is in is played a day after the Fedovic group.

Completely agree with you on this one, if I had the option to choose between 3 slams + 6 masters or the WTF I'd choose the WTF. Nadal would literally own the season if he wins the WTF by beating all the best players + the tournament being the very last thing of the season, he'd go away with a better deal.

So you are feeling nervous too? I am losing sleep because all of those titles could lose their significance if he fails to win WTF. :(

Confident, you are.
Confident in Rafa. No confidence in Fed vs Nole tomorrow, but hopefully it goes the distance. Djoko looking pretty awesome and Rafa is at best channeling his 2013 form which won't cut it against Nole. He'll need help from Fed to take this one or an early visit from the Djoko Claus, and Nole does not have the spirit of Christmas in him at all this year.

Do you seriously what you say I would sell Rafas 2010 to have this years like Djokovic which is out of this world weak field or not.

Of course, I'm gonna get my pillow and my blankey and cry myself to sleep if Nadal wins the WTF. It's simply unimaginable for Novak to top Nadal's season should Nadal go on to win the WTF. Novak's season wouldn't even make a blip on the richter scale.

Seems more realistic to ask Santa for a dragon than asking for Djokovic to lose this year.

Should Nadal win, I think Djokovic should become British and help Andy in winning the Davis Cup to save his season just a little bit.
