Sela in 4 .

A damn shame....

Having watched Nadal play Sela today, I do actually feel like Anderson is not without a chance.

Sela made Nadal look great in the first two sets, but as soon as Sela found a bit of his game, Nadal was having a tough job. Anderson is a much better player than Sela, and has a gamestyle that doesn't match up well with Nadal's. So no easy ride for Nadal I think.

That said - Nadal in four.

The only thing more cringeworthy than those dumb smileys is the fact you think they're actually remotely funny

I wholeheartedly support this message.

Nadal in 4, Anderson is a good player but i think he's one of those players that lets the "big names" intimidate him. Honestly cant see him getting more than a set even if Rafa turns up injured again.

Tough opponent early in the slam draw (yet again:rolleyes:), Nadal will have to play his best to have a chance at a breakeven.

First real match for Nadal. Three tough matches come for him - Anderson (who has a chance since he is playing good tennis), then Berdych, then he would potentially face the player who may take him out: Andy Murray, who is going forward silently but in a serious way

Anderson in four. Yup. It's happening. Nadal will tank to avoid getting humiliated by pigeon Berdych.

Actually, Nadal in five as Anderson will choke to avoid further ownage by TweetyBerd. Dimitrov will endorse Anderson's superior choking skills

Oh well, the one bonus about Nadal winning this match is at least we won't have to suffer another boring Berdych/Anderson encounter. But we then have Nadal/Berdych to look forward to!!

Nadal will have to pick up his form and the slightly faster courts this year should favor Anderson's game, but it is hard to see how Anderson will be able to stick with Nadal in a best of five situation. Nadal in four.

Rafa in 4 I would like to say 3 but it's later on in the tourney and Anderson seems like a tougher opponent ranked 14th only 11 off Rafa but if Rafa plays as well as the first two sets tonight he'll have it in the bag!

It is not the same to play against a player like Sela (who has not a lot more than enthusiasm and decent hands) than a big hitter like Anderson. Sort of 80+ places in the rankings, also

Anderson could serve his way to a tiebreak or a few close sets, and maybe even take a set, it will be more interesting than if it were Gasquet in any case.

This will be 1st test of ATP 250 final level for Nadal.

I hope Nadal got back some groove/timing required to play at true ATP level, so to speak. :)

Surprised these guys have only played once. I think it's going to be a very tight match with it going to five, meant to vote for Nadal in 5.
