2015 BNP Paribas Open / Indian Wells (R4) - Roger Federer vs Jack Sock

The first meeting between Roger and Jack. In fact, this will be the Sock's first meeting with any of the "Big Four".
Sounds daunting, but Sock is looking forward to it, especially since it's in the United States.
Roger's form hasn't been the greatest this tournament, while Sock played some nice tennis after a shaky start against Bautista Agut, and caused another upset.
Hopefully, the match is of a high quality.

I said Fed in 3. He looked off tonight, so I don't know what to expect from him. But Sock looks to me to be more of an attacker than Seppi, and Fed likes to face aggressive players.

Fed usually does not have to weak days in a row, so he may be due for a good showing.

Fed would love Sock's big hitting and use its power to his advantage. But if Sock will hit with crazy spinny zipping moonballs to Fed's backhand, Fed will have some troubles.

Every remaining match is dangerous for Fed. Wouldn't rule out Sock, but still, you have to go with Federer - in 2.

Seems crazy that this will be his first meeting with any of the big four. He's been around for awhile now

Federer in 2, even playing average like last night. I dont think Sock is a real threat but the Swiss is capable of the worst/best these days

Federer lost his inside out swing against Seppi, then made the adjustment to keep on track. Federer in 2 unless Sock plays inspired then Federer in 3.

Cheers

Interested to see how Sock plays and handles the nerves of his first big match - this is his deepest run in a mandatory event and his first matchup with a Big 4 member. Hopefully he can settle in early and play well. Coming from a set down to beat Agut was an excellent win for him.

I don't see him winning this one though.

That FH of Sock's is a weapon, but I think Federer will use a lot of variety and win this match pretty easily. Sock won't be able to get away with that return position he was taking against RBA either. As such, I'd like to see Federer S&V a lot if Sock doesn't change his return position.

Will be surprised if it's anything but Fed in 2. Would be great for Sock if he could pull off something special, but I suspect the occasion will get to him.

6-3, 6-4 Fed in no more than 80 minutes. The Sock backhand should be picked apart by Fed. Sock's serve will keep it to one break per set.

My only interest in this match is whether Federer will bring in some varieties including his net games in this match or
he will just stick to his forte, baseline game, making it boring but winning match, just like the one with Seppi ?

In the last match, The commentators remarked on the camera man panning the audience, It looks like the whole Federer clan is there, Father, Mother, Wive and kids, he definately needs to win a few matches to pay for the bill on this outing. His problem last match was his inside out forehand was going into the net a lot.

Federer in 2 or 3

Really, sock plays nothing like Roddick. Sock hardly ever slices the ball for starters and has a better and totally different forehand.

They're obviously not exactly the same. Sock seems to be more natural at the net and his racket head speed is much faster than Roddick's ever was. It goes without saying that Roddick's serve was a lot better.

Don't get me wrong, as an American I want him to do well. However , it won't happen now, it's up to Sock to make adjustments to his game.

Anybody know where I can get a livestream of this?

Would like to be able to watch this "changing of the guard" moment in the men's game.

American tennis player. Let me guess, a big serve and hits big with the forehand, average/below average backhand and average mover. Is true, no?
