Let's see if you're saying the same thing tomorrow.

who cares !!!!!!! just enjoying it right now ...

not that worried about nadal in his current form , its djoko who's the bigger threat and fed's own inexplicable bad patches like vs seppi ....

Berdych absolutely owns Federer. I think the reason for this is unlike other big hitters, Federer's strategic niceness hasn't caused him to take it easy on Federer. Whereas other guys who could bully Federer around the court and blow away his soft shots feel bad about it and take it easy on him, costing them the matches, Berdych is immune to that. He goes out there and makes Federer look like a child.

Worth a sticky !!!

This is just embarrassing !

I never thought I'd feel sorry for Berdych...

Not since he did the same to Murray has Fed look so in control..

Is Rafa FINNISH ?

I did not expect Federer to dismantle Berdych in this manner, considering how Berdych has been playing against him in their last few encounters, and playing in general overall. He destroyed Nadal in AO and gave Djokovic an almighty shock in Dubai.

my post at the starting of the match

Anyways its time for a beatdown for Mr.Thomas Berdych ... he hasn't gotten one from Rog since Paris 2011.

Go fed !!!

;)

I have the utmost confidence in this Federer against either Raonic or Nadal in the semis.

Federer played stunningly well in this match but no, according to Vero it's a non-match.

Well Federer is bix office, and the biggest draw in the game.

The other guys better take notice, Federer is not going to go quietly into the sunset here.

Credit to Fed, that was a great performance. If he continues playing like that he has to be the favourite to win the whole thing.

Exactly. Though I think it's fair to note that Berdych suffered greatly from his non-working serve.

I will never ever understand 'fans' wanting to 'avoid' a rival because of a negative H2H.
Hoping Rafa will make up for his end of this deal tonight, too! :)

It's a fun surface to play on if you hit with a lot of top spin. But it doesn't reward attacking tennis or slice.

I never played in the hot sun though. The courts I play on are indoors and air conditioned.

It does reward attacking tennis, as you can see by Federer's records here. There's so much bite to Federer's shots. If you, like Federer can combine power, speed and topspin it will favour attacking tennis.

Remember the court isn't slow, in relative terms, it's medium speed, but still a very 'reactive surface'.

A non match doesn't mean Fed is not playing well. It just means the match is completely one-sided and devoid of any tension (or interest quite frankly other than for the staunchest Fed fans)

13/14 net points for fed

21 winners to 11 UEs
9 winners to 21 UEs for birdman

4/8 BPs for fed
Zero BPs for birdman

The problem is that no matter how good Federer is playing, he always have troubles against Nadal. He always plays differente against Nadal, just because Nadal puts him in a really awkward position from the very beginning with his top to his backhand.

Haven't you learnt that over all these years of Fedal ?

I still think he can beat Rafa this time around, but not because of the masterpierce he played today, but because of Rafa not being 100% yet and the way he seems to be feeeling these new Penn balls used at the tournament.
