Recapping the Oklahoma run and what has transformed them

also a little interaction with the players there

Enjoy your time in College Station this Friday and the in-person interaction with the Oklahoma players. They have tough weekend with Texas A&M on Friday and then rematch with North Carolina at home on Sunday (that will 6 matches in 10 days). North Carolina is at Texas on Friday too (that will be 5 matches in 10 days).

I was originally going to to UNC Texas but I saw it's going to be at the indoor center again and I would prefer to view a match at an outdoor venue, especially one as good as A&M's. If it rains though (50% chance) I will have to go to UNC vs Texas.

I guess whoever keyed in the OU/USC result got a little too excited and left Andrew Harris off and had Dane Webb winning at both 2 and 3.

No i never got to voting, believe it was Coyote.

Yes, I voted for Oklahoma. I thought they had a good chance and nobody was voting for them. They were NCAA finalists and got better. I was a little surprised how little resoect they got after only getting better. Losing Alcorta hurt but the bottom of their lineup is much better. I know little about Salazar but most teams get better with spaniards on the roster.

Alvarez and Webb are extremely strong at 2&3. The light has come on for Ghilea at 5. Those three appear to be pretty reliable so they usually only have to find one more line. Admittedly, I didn't expect the USC double choke. That had to be tough for them to shake mentally.

I think A&M may upset Oklahoma today because Oklahoma is probably mentally hungover.

I think they will win, even without Papa in the lineup. Or maybe they confused Papa with Papac who's listed in the #4 slot.

Looks like a good call on the upset. You have a reputation for knowing your League tennis. I didn't know you knew college as well.

It wasn't a huge stretch. That bottom of the lineup is young so they are susceptible to mental lapses. The big win at the indoors was just a huge red flag for a mental letdown. Roddick will probably use this as a teachable moment.
