I feel sorry for Berdych tomorrow, it's going to be ugly.
I also feel sorry for the two guys who voted for Berdych, they are in dire need of a brain transplant.

5th final of the year for Djoko. 3rd consecutive master final. Like beads he's stringing them this year! Still, Fed the only one to defeat Novak in final this season. Can Berd join him?
Ajde Nole. Let's do this 6 prodigy!

Now lets be serious for a moment.
I think Novak should be very careful with this one. Tomas is playing under the pressure tomorrow, and has already beat Novak on clay in 2013 (as someone mentioned). Novak must repeat another great performance to win a title. I guess its really hard to regroup mentally after todays match. He played inspired against Nadal and that took a lot of energy from him.
He must find a way to motivate himself AGAIN or he will surely have a problem in final.

You should remember Berdych sucks in finals. And gets bagelled routinely by Nole. That hasn't changed with Berdych 2.0 this year, it's only his consistency that went through the roof. The combination of these two patterns bodes badly for tomorrow.

I think that's a shrewd analysis. Great win in semi but this is not the end and Berd is playing well. Novak had better be careful not to lose focus. (Berd also benefited from a retirement and playing 1st semi. He will be plenty fresh if the match goes to 3)

Novak won't be losing focus. In fact, I expect him to be very ruthless tomorrow, and exploit Berdych's movement on clay.

This is a great chance to win Monte Carlo again, with no Federer waiting for him. Strange how he is 2-2 against Nadal here, yet 0-3 against Federer here. So, playing Berdych is ideal. He wants this trophy badly, that was obvious after today.

I see Berdych heavily underestimated here... The guy is #2 in the race, ffs!

And this year we saw several so-called "pigeons" win matches... Seppi vs Fed, Simon vs Murray, and Berd himself vs Rafa

Djok is the favorite, but this will be much closer than most think

Berdych will get smoked tomorrow. If it'd be on hard, I'd give him a small fighting chance, but no way he can compete with Djokovic on clay.

Nonsense, Berdych has much bigger chance on clay than on hard where his inferior movement leaves him much more vulnarble. Plus their H2H on clay is 1-1

On reflection, you could be right! :)

The problem is that the top three know how to play Berdych and how to turn it up later in the first set.

FH DTL could be a key shot for Djokovic tomorrow... wrong footing Berdych on the BH side.

Berdych has looked lethal in his last two matches (although his opponents were either MIA or terrible), so I think it may be closer than a lot of people are saying. This is probably a better matchup for him on clay than on a hardcourt, his movement won't be so easily exploited. He could eat a bagel and a breadstick too though lol.

Berdych doesn't have what it takes to beat Novak in a Masters 1000 final.

Novak should dismantle the Birdman in 2 routine sets, but full credit to Tomas he has improved his focus this year. It won't be enough against a rampant Novak though.

It looks like an easy win for Djokovic. Djokovic and Nadal always make Berdych look slow on foot and they are the only 2 players who know how to use Berdych height to make him look slow almost every time. Djokovic will just move Berdych around and win easily. Will Berdych cause an upset, though? Extremely unlikely, judging by Djokovic's current form.

I agree, that seems likely. 6-1, 6-1 wouldn't be too far out of the realm of possibility either.

I'd be surprised if Berdych got more than 3 or 4 games in a set.

I hope 6-0 6-0 doesn't happen. Even though im a djokovic fan. look at Beijing, its not impossible :)

Oh crap, I hit the wrong choice. I have Berdych in 2. Meant to pick Novak. I don't even want to see this match, because it's going to be a slaughter.

I'd like to be wrong. I'd like to see a match, but Nadal was the only one who might have had a chance to beat Novak right now, and we can see how that turned out...

Monfils spoiled a potential Federer meeting also. He could have challenged him.

What's scary is that Djokovic is playing the #2 guy in the points race, just had a big win that most would expect would cause a let-down and he is still an overwhelming favorite.
He's just getting way better than everyone else.
