Denver lose the doubles point against Mississippi State after brutal 8-7(12-10) loses at #1 and #2

Mississippi State won two pretty quick matches at numbers 6 and 3, but Denver is starting to charge back. Diogo Rocha put them on the board with an 0&4 win at #2 and DU won the first sets at numbers 1, 4, and 5.

Texas and Navy getting started shortly, great that Senior Jacoby Lewis gets to play doubles.

Harvard has the doubles point and three first sets against Northwestern. I thought this would be close but NW would win. Still a long way to go.

Hahaha....wrong and yet still defiant...oh well, hurry along now and continue being the poor-man's Colette Lewis (via Twitter) for the ITA.

what was I wrong about? I never said they would beat Mississippi State, in fact how close they came actually surprised me. I just thought your shot at them was completely unnecessary considering their success. There are far too many coaches and teams who are actually doing a bad job out there for Denver to get shots taken at them.

Maybe he's mad that he can't play on their team?

Harvard v Northwestern is 3-3 but delayed due to Tornados in the area. Norman has not had ideal conditions this week.

Crazy drama in Norman. Harvard was up 6-5 in the deciding breaker. Northwestern hit a return long (according to harvard twitter) but the red overruled it to make it 6-6. But it was the 3rd overrule for the Harvard player so he goes down 7-6 and the northwestern guy hits an ace to win 8-6.

Bad time to hook someone. Usually, it has to be very obvious for an overrule so Harvard Twitter is probably a little biased.

Yeah, I watched Salibasic's win on the live feed, which disappeared when they went indoors, but that was a pretty comprehensive schooling. He won a lot of quick holds and gutted out some tough breaks. I thought Louisville would win this but they folded fast after the rain delay with a couple lines going down hard and fast in singles to give Drake the edge. Surprised that Louisville could only win one singles line.

Vanderbilt has had 10 matches this year ending 4-3. They lost the first 2 matches (Northwestern and South Florida) and have won the last 8 (Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Harvard, Florida, Kentucky, and Miss State). In those 8 victories, they lost doubles point 4 times (Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Miss State).
