ABN - Anyone but Nadal
Djokovic - most likely culprit
Going with Young GOAT or Nishki for deep runs
Is Murray / Federer playing?
Murray and Fed are both scheduled to play. But of course they can pull out...
He'll play all right. When was the last time Fed retired pre-tournament after announcing he would play?Murray should be playing. Federer should play after the Madrid loss. The draw is today. If he doesn't announce his withdrawal before the draw is made, then he will play.
But of course, if he gets a nightmare draw like Madrid, he can still withdraw.
Rome is probably the most prestigious of the non-slams.
Its the closest to becoming a slam.
I hope it becomes a slam next year.

Are you high? Rome is not close to becoming a slam...only in your mind.
He isn't high. Throughout the 70s and 80s. Rome was the biggest by far (outside the then 3 slams). It was bigger than AO for example.
It might not be as prestigious now as t was but it has got a lot of history attached to it. I'd love to see this as a slam instead of AO which is very dull lately.
Got you. But the guy said "Rome is close to becoming a slam." I'm not aware there are any such plans.

I would rank Rome above Monte Carlo and Paris, but that's about it.
ATP Rome projected QFs:
Djokovic/Nishikori
Murray/Ferrer
Wawrinka/Nadal
Berdych/Federer
#Roma Draw. Top half: #Djokovic, #Murray, #Nisikori & #Ferrer. Bottom: #Federer, #Nadal, #Wawrinka & #Berdych
Just keep throwing Berdych then Nadal at Fed until it happens I guess.![]()

Projected Rome Draw - Roger Federer:
R1 Bye.
R2 Cuevas.
R3 Anderson.
QF Dimitrov/Berdych.
SF Unnamed/Wawrinka.
F Djokovic/Murray
I think he should withdraw. Shouldn't bother leaving home. This is ridiculous. All the other top guys have easy openers except Federer.

You should never create a match thread again. They are supposed to be neutral. You seemed to troll match thread instread of being neutral, which is the way folks do them here.
Hahahahaha
Good one
It isnt funny, and take that risk if you want to. You have a history, that the mods can see. Btw, i dont know if anyone reported you, but you now have an official trolling history. The Mods can look back on your history, even if you made changes, and see the poll questions.

Looks like an 8th Rome Masters for Nadal.
Potential 2 Aussie young guns in R2. This will sound strange but I hope Tomic loses in Round 1. Cause he will be thrashed by Kyrgios in R2 on clay. And then everyone will say Kyrgios is way better but beating Tomic on clay really means nothing. I'd much rather them meet on grass.
Man from the young aussie generation I much prefer Kokkinakis. Doesn't seem to be that cocky..![]()
First, the individual tournaments are not grands slams. They are majors. Second, there were not three majors in the 70s and 80s, there were four - the same as today. If you win all four in a calendar year, you've won the grand slam, like Laver did twice. In the 70s and 80s, the AO was not as important as the other majors, but it was still a major, and needed to win a grand slam.He isn't high. Throughout the 70s and 80s.
