Kvitova is currently serving up a break 4-2 in the 1st.

Yeah, that's wrong. It's the other way around. Kvitova is one of the players who can beat Serena but it's on Serena's racquet, not hers.

Pennetta is making a dent in each of Kvitova's service games, at least the last couple anyway. Kvitova is likely winning this set but it'll be interesting to see if Pennetta can finally make her pay next set.

EDIT: Nevermind, this set isn't over yet. Pennetta breaks with a backhand return winner.

Petra's screams used to sound like a chicken squawk or a puppy bark. They were cute. It is a little grating now. But at least the point is over and it's not with every shot.

It's as annoying, or even more so, than Serena's over-the-top "come ons"! I know you're trying to get fired up, but you're not exactly the underdog. You know what I mean? Dial it down a little. She (Serena) even sometimes gets carried away and yells "come on" before the ball is dead. She's going to do herself damage one of these days, a la the 2011 USO F vs Stosur.

I tend to think so, too. There's no shot or strategy in Kvitova's game that Vika cannot answer. Adding to that, Vika seems to not have much respect for many players' games, so she will try to make short work out of anyone--especially with the attitude she's displayed during this USO. Vika just has to resist playing the "overpower" game, which can hand sets to any kind of opponent.
