I think it will not be Serena. She lost one set in 5 of the 7 matches she played in French Open. She is not as good as people think she is.

If Petra gets well and back into form (she had to skip this week due to illness) in the first week without any accident, she has a very good chance to beat Serena or anyone else in the final. Remember she beat Williams in Madrid last month.

These two are the favorites but there is always Sharapova and I think Lisicki deserves a title there.

#Serena played terribly while stricken with viral illness throughout the #FrenchOpen and won. Clay is by far her worst surface. No reason to think that a healthy, #5-time Wimbledon Champion couldn't do it again, at 32-1 for the year and playing for the #SerenaSlam and a possible #CYGS.

Not as good as people think? LOL. You are not going to enjoy #Wimbledon this year, are you?

Serena has not been that good last couple of months. That's what I meant. She is a proven champion and nobody is questioning that. She was not sick in Madrid and Petra beat her. Clay is not Kvitova's best surface either. Also I am not sure if anyone that sick can win the final set in the final match 6-0. There was certainly a dose of drama there.

Can Serena win her 3rd slam of the year and win another NCYGS?
Or will Kvitova stop her and win her 3rd Wimbledon?
Put a poll up based on current rankings, i'm sure the seeding will be different due to Wimbledon's rules.

Early wildcards have been awarded to Naomi Broady, Johanna Konta, Anett Kontaveit and Jelena Ostapenko. I'll keep this updated.

I don't like Serena Williams, the tennis player, and have no idea if she is a decent person off the court. Where she is from has no bearing on my feelings for her- I like her sister. And her Mother seems like a nice lady. That said, she does look great in this photo. And much better a flattering photo of a player rather than one that's just to prove a nasty point. It's cheap and unworthy.
